Well,another great weekend at Cadwell Park. The Suzuki only trackday was great,lots of lovely Suzuki’s to look at.Classic Motorcycle Mechanics trackday today didn’t seem to have much attendance compared to the Suzuki one which was very well attended by trackdayers and public alike. Thanks to all who put your bikes on the stand,here’s to the next one. Cheers Paul

Would be great to get some new blood for the shows,as Dave says your bike doesn’t have to be shiny to be on show,or even complete for that matter, put your bikes forward and come and join us. Paul

Bikes don’t have to be clean and shiny to be shown Rene,and if they arrive on a trailer or van or are show bikes only,it don’t matter to me as long as people bring them along, all helps to show what we are doing

Ok boys and girls,we don’t look to have many bikes for the stand,so I would really appreciate the trackday people putting their bikes on the stand between sessions and also anyone who is coming along for the day too.

Be good if we can all camp near each other,my van will be by the stand Silver Vauxhall Vivaro M77PBM,i’ll be there around 3pmish.

Little bit more info, the Friday trackday boys should be finished and gone by 5pm,i’ll be there from around 3pm. The track bar isn’t open on the Friday night but will be on Saturday night,so bring beer! Anyone wants my number pm me and i’ll let you have it. See ya all there.

Draw through or blow through? is the big question.

My air filter fell off my blow through ET in the pouring rain, didn’t bother it too much Use a decent filter on the turbo with a splash guard if you are worried about water ingress, I’ve never bothered with a splash guard,and it does get ridden in the wet now and again. -
Ok boys and girls, this event is free to spectate and camp at all weekend so come along and say hello at the OSS stand, I’m sure the Classic Motorcycle Mechanics trackday on the Sunday will have lots of interesting machinery to look at/watch as well, the OSS stand will be there all weekend, if you come along to visit on a OSS I’m sure we can find room to park a few extra on the stand while you are there.

Sounds like fun to me I’m of the philosophy that when the tyres fucked you replace it,same as when your fuel tank is empty you fill it.

The gearboxes can be noisy,(whining), but in general they are excellent, I have one with 76000 miles and it’s sweet,also had one with 105000 miles and that was sweet too,in contrast to that I had one with 25000 miles and it had the noisiest 3rd gear I’ve ever heard!

Ok I know there is a thread further down the page, we can have a stand at this event,so I’m going to book some space for us,anyone interested? Those of you who are doing the trackday,it would be nice if you could park your bikes at the stand between sessions,we can camp there all weekend so can take in the trackday on the Sunday as well.
