  1. Today
  2. This is one I got of Tomasz Piotrowicz the Polish guy that does the turbo stuff on FB it's only 40x40mm.
  3. My local show, I'll be there with a few others if anyone else is interested in bringing their bike along? Its a great wee show. Indoors, so the weather is guaranteed
  4. @peter1127oh that looks very nice
  5. I have a aTD05-16G without restrictor, and the it drainsinto the top of the catch tank. In your case it enters at the bottom with a bend which has some restriction. Tbh it looks like it should work but still it has a little bit more resistance then draining completely free. Also I dont see a breather?
  6. You can either drill the frame or sleeve the hole in the engine, doesn't really make much difference either way. I'm sure plenty of R1 front ends have been swapped on to these bikes, stem and/or bearing swap and sort the steering locks.
  7. Yesterday
  8. I have the mk1 with four pots, dunno but maybe the mountingholes are the same so you might be able to source some original mk1 four pots an your sorted
  9. I also had q fubarred rearshock, i bought a new 2020 ninja 400 shock wich needee little work to make it fit. As i use this bike only on the street it works good enough for me 65 euro and a little welding cant beat that. Took of the eye of the old shock and welder to the ninjashock.
  10. Been riding this bike for a while now, its reliable and goes like stink. Must say its anoying to ride on speeds between 100 and 120 if its windy its constant switching between gear. Probably the downside of a small two stroke. Had major problems with the frontbrakes. I refurbished calipers and mastercilinder new brakelines also. But spongey spongey no matter what i did. Theres air in the system somewhere. Decided to take out the antidivesystem and now its much much better. I am really happy with this bike such a cracking little big fun bike to ride.
  11. And intruder 1400/1500 if you want to be really pedantic
  12. Does it matter which is done? 12mm engine bolt would be stronger but is it a big deal? Also, if anyone has drawings or measurements for these mounts it would be greatly appreciated
  13. Corrected your spelling

    7/11 Questions

All oilcooled (except gsx1400 for the pedants ) have mounts in the same positions so all will fit , the only difference being the 1127 +1157 varieties have 12mm bolts for the bottom rear mounts so either drill the mounts or sleeve the cases with a piece of tubing 12mm o/d 1mm wall thickness. Don't know about the R1 front but a stem swap and fettling of the lock stops would seem likely .
  15. I bought an 88 slingshot 750 frame and swingarm and want to build a 90’s style 7/11 and i have a couple of questions. Frame has no engine mounts but im wondering will the 1127 or 1157 fit in standard 750 mounts or will things have to be changed and is there any limitations to what carbs to use or any height issues. What front ends fit slingshot frames? Have my eye on a complete early r1 complete front end, anyone ever done it?
  16. wrapped some tape round the filters and it seemed to run better, still the odd pop but not as bad, still to wet to ride it though. standard pilots are 37.5 so i might order a set of #40's and see how i get on. bloody motorbikes
  17. lol, i wish it was that easy wraith
  18. I know you know what you're doing, but the hanging revs is not a sticking throttle cable or something like the handle bar grip just rubbing on a end weight or the switch gear?
  19. was looking for an air corrector kit for B12 carbs but can't find anything !!!!
  20. yeah seems really weird !!!!! as i said the carbs have done less than 17,000 miles and look perfect inside, i do have a spare set of carbs just in case.
  21. Ha, you responded while I was typing. Ignore my post.
  22. Did you have a good idle before fitting the kit? Are your float heights correct and are the carbs synced?
  23. inlet rubbers are perfect and new O rings fitted, fuel tap is an ON/OFF/RES and flows as it should. the engine i know is good as i took it out of a 1200 bandit with less than 17.000 miles on it, ran perfect with airbox. carbs have been cleaned and float heights checked and no leaks on the float valves. gona tape up the filters just to confirm its running lean, if so then maybe go up on the pilots.
  24. I know it's a different engine etc, but the miss gsxr1100k (1127) is running dual K&n's b12 MK1 carbs with cobra exhaust. The setting on that is, 155 main jets (Dyna jets) Pilot screws at 2 1/2 turns out And needle set in center grove. Runs fine no real hanging or poping
  25. That’s a much richer setup than I’m running and I’ve got no issues with popping or hanging idle, and my air/fuel numbers are right where I want them, are you sure you haven’t got an air leak somewhere, split intake rubber maybe ? or even a fuel starvation issue, the diaphragms in the tap can cause problems, I recently had to swap my tap diaphragm
  26. lifted the needles a notch (5th groove) and 3 1/5 turns out and still popping and hanging rev's !!!! but rain has stopped play. the instructions say "US market only" !!! I wonder if thats got anything to do with it ? theirs a lot to be said about airbox's
  27. Last week
  28. @wraithYou do know there's digital clocks fitted to some of the oil cooled K6 bandits? Suzuki must have started running out of the mk.2 clocks and started using the bandit 1250 digital clocks. Some have "bandit 1200" and some have just "bandit" written in chrome on the speedo. I have a digital k6 set along with my.2 loom, alternator and crank signal plate on a mk.1 engine withoutput shaft drilled for speedo sensor.
