1340banditpaul
Can I use an 1100 GSXR cam cover on a 12 Bandit engine? Do I need to put the chain slider off the Bandit cover on to the 1100 cover and if I do is it just simply drill a couple of holes and bolt the slider on? Cheers guys. Quote Link to comment

clivegto
You might have to mod the breather cover a little on top of the cam cover where the 2 bolts go through. Quote Link to comment

Read Frankensteins Pages in The Vault. Lots of good info as to what fits what. Quote Link to comment
Dezza
Does an 1100 slabside cam cover fit on a Blandit 1200 head and work properly? They look wildly different but I was informed that the SS part is magnesium although this could easily be BS. I am shit with computers. How do I find Frankenstein's pages? Quote Link to comment
gray711
There’s an additional cam chain guide which sits under where the breather is on the 12 cover part # 5 Quote Link to comment

clivegto
Don't see why not left one is 1127 same as b12 apart from the holes for part # 5 right one is 1052. 1 Quote Link to comment
Dezza
Other than that no difference then, i.e. weight due to 1052 cover being made of a different material rather than having fewer bits to it? Quote Link to comment
gray711
It is possible to just drill a couple of holes in the 1127 cover to fit the chain guide, I’m sure the holes in the guide are threaded. When I had a B12 donk in my slabby it needed a new cam cover but I could only get an 1127 one at the time & remember drilling it to fit the guide Edited January 30, 2018 by gray711 1 Quote Link to comment
1340banditpaul
Well it defiantly can be done, I done it tonight, the GSXR cover even has 2 indents in the case where you drill the holes aswell ;-) 2 Quote Link to comment
