1052 in an 84 EF frame,

Exhaust options?

My slingy micron 4-2-1 fouls the pegs

Ti K41000 headers foul the frame

an extremely tasty Harris set up from a GS won't go near the ports

Ive got a B12 set of downpipes to try but looking at them they're gonna hang a bit low

Any ideas?

I'll take you up on that. Are you still up at the van or back down?

I have stock B12 headers on my B12 powered EFE. Had to cut out the bit of frame above the oil filter and weld it back in a bit lower. No problems with ground clearance.

My previous oilcooled powered EFE had stock GSX-R1100M headers, with the same frame mod.

I've got a 4-2-1 Remus on mine, but I do have collars on the ports and the original pegs are long gone. It sits a bit low due to the angle on the exhaustports but I've never grounded it out and it doesn't look too bad.

Its mounted using mounts inhas laser cut from the drawings on here  (y)

In that case I would have thought the micron would be the best option but would need the 4-2-1 modding to miss the pegs "assuming you have stock pegs and hangers"

I cut and carved a Micron from a water boiler to fit my EFE "but it still has the Air-cooled Proper Engine "

One word... turbo

All in good time! I want to ride it N/A for a while first, then maybe I'll make use of the old Garret T3 from my old Sierra!

@Duckndive The proper engine is a longer stroke than the 1052 is it not? Everything I've tried so far hangs too low and can I hell find a slabby 1100 set up

Yes the 1135 motor is a longer stroke than the oil boiler ...but it also has a flat sump...

the water boiler micron on mine has had about 15mm taken out of the down pipes and the collector modified to get it tight to the sump...

the 1100L had the shallowest sump I think as it had twin silencers  O.o and the bandit has an offset deeper section to clear the 4 -1.....as long as you use the pick up that matches the sump they swop over ...  all the microns I've seen on oil and water boilers are quite tight to the sump....

Little update on this;

ive tried a system off an 1100g and that's the closest fit so far but I'm having to run headers 1 and 4 outside the frame rails to make it fit.

My slingy micron is immaculate and I don't want to chop it up really

The suzuki guru that is Del has suggested that SRAD headers might fit

Any suggestions for something that'll go straight on or am I dreaming? xD
