Dezza Posted September 29 Posted September 29 Just noticed these on eb@y. Still a lot of dosh at 800 quid but less than half the cost of a bespoke tank made by any of the well-know tank blokes in the UK and it doesn't appear to have been made by children in Mumbai (although this cannot be totally excluded). It does look a bit angular to me though so needs pics of one on a finished bike. Thoughts? 115615547978 Quote
spiderpig Posted September 29 Posted September 29 Pretty sure these are being made by cobavalleycycles in the UK. Was looking at their frames for a chop when he started making the tanks. Top quality work 1 Quote
george 1100 Posted September 29 Posted September 29 There's a guy over here that's made a limited run of alloy tanks. They look pretty good and are reasonably priced https://www.gumtree.com.au/s-ad/melton-south/motorcycle-scooter-parts/suzuki-gsx-r-1100-750-aluminium-fuel-tanks-/1328171726 Quote
gsxwill Posted September 29 Posted September 29 Pretty sure Parkers over in Bournemouth do them as well, seem to remember them supplying Henry Cole Quote

You are probably right @Dezza but popular tanks they have blanks for maybe cheaper than we think, though probably not as cheap as some Quote
dupersunc Posted September 30 Posted September 30 Parkers have tooling for WP tanks after being fucked around by everyone's favourite Humberside based chassis builder. They won't be cheap. The Eblag ones are made in Cornwall as mentioned. The guy seems to do reasonable, solid stuff for a fair price, that has been fitted to some high profile builds.. You pay your money a take your choice. 1 Quote
badger Posted October 5 Posted October 5 That's Graham at Coba valley, he's a good friend of mine and made my tank (and 1001 other bits). He doesn't price what he's worth. 3 Quote
baldrick Posted October 5 Posted October 5 they would be so much nicer if they followed the frame rails. but undoubtedly quality work Quote
