Stewart750 Posted June 12, 2023 Posted June 12, 2023 Hey guys, so after the old et was finished being built I needed something else to do for a laugh, so now I have a 91’ 600f in my possession, and I’m looking at front ends that are fairly simple to swap over also does anyone know if a 160 tyre fits the original swingarm? clivegto Posted June 12, 2023 Posted June 12, 2023 Just got this of @fatblokeonbanditit's got a gsxr750 slingshot upside down front end and a 5.5" wheel with a 180 tyre in the standard arm. It's all in the projects section Quote

Swiss Toni Posted June 12, 2023 Posted June 12, 2023 I have a set of 750M ones. You’ll have to decide what front end you want first. Quote

I was thinking like 600srad as there rwu and fully adjustable, but if usd are better and just as easy to swap in I’d be up for it Quote
Ivan Posted June 13, 2023 Posted June 13, 2023 I got a first type swinger with 5.5J with 170 tyre, 180 would be tricky with tyre standard offset sprockets. A b600/rf600 etc have 4.5J for 160 tyre and fit original sprocket carrier. I have one for my gsx6/11f. Quote

Also somehow I have a 160 wheel out of a zx6r first gen lying around so might see if I can get that in the swinger. I was looking at forks off a zx6r but not sure on stem length or if it’s even possible as I know the rwu and adjustable. Quote

Losiu Posted June 13, 2023 Posted June 13, 2023 Srad 750 forks, 4 pots tokico, 310mm discs (600/750 k5?), srad whell, and brake pads from 4 pots nissin (b12 mk1 example) Quote

I did read through the whole project and thought it looked great! But couldn’t find anything on stem swap or bearing change when you changed it over, unless I’m blind! and thank you for the info much appreciated! Don’t suppose anyone knows of any rearsets that fit off the shelf? From the looks it’s going to be adapter plates me thinks Quote
