wraith Posted September 2, 2022 Posted September 2, 2022 Ok, mate at work has just got himself a b6 MK1 (just past his test at 33) He asked me a question, and I don't know the answer to. The question was, can he put the b12 rear wheel in the b6 swing arm? I did say it maybe easier to put the b12 swing arm in but can a b12 wheel if in a b6 swing arm? Quote
Joseph Posted September 2, 2022 Posted September 2, 2022 Tell him he doesn't need a B12 wheel in the back. Keep it stock, use it till insurance for a real motorcycle becomes reasonable for him. Quote
colinworth79 Posted September 2, 2022 Posted September 2, 2022 Would have to swap complete rear end as a unit. Bolt in job . 2 Quote

He likes bandits he got this very very cheap and is getting a stash of parts for it for next winter ISH, he's going to ride it as the 600 for this year maybe some of next, then a b12 motor goes in USD front end etc etc, he only paid £200 for it as a complete bike, as a non runner but it only needed a battery and choke cable. 1 Quote
TonyGee Posted September 2, 2022 Posted September 2, 2022 im pretty sure a B12 wheel will fit in a B6 swinger as they are the same width !!!! but better to use a B12 swinger as well, stiffer and looks better. 1 Quote
wraith Posted September 2, 2022 Author Posted September 2, 2022 Is there any length difference between the b6 and b12 arms? Quote

Duckndive Posted September 2, 2022 Posted September 2, 2022 B12 wheel will fit in B6 leg ...just use the B12 carrier and spacers then it bolts straight in 1 Quote
TonyGee Posted September 2, 2022 Posted September 2, 2022 the carriers are not interchangeable from B6 to b12. 5 rubbers Vs 6 rubbers Quote

Masterdave Posted September 16, 2022 Posted September 16, 2022 The 12 swinger is also Ali so can be polished if that's his thing, and no rust to worry about Quote
