They are 1500 quid or so here, unless you have a Yosh sticker on the float bowls and paint the tops red, then they're 2500 quid Quote
Kamikaze Posted February 25, 2022 Posted February 25, 2022 This cheap....!!!!!! and if ur not fussed about new ones u can find second hand ones on yahoo japan auction site for less. Yeah sure u pay shipping and taxes on top but still works out cheaper than a hooker on high street. 1 Quote

busa ash Posted March 6, 2022 Author Posted March 6, 2022 Had a busy couple of days . Collected my frame from the legend that is jim king . So now the dry build will begin in as i have most parts . Will need all new rubber bushes and grommits for frame mountings Quote
busa ash Posted March 6, 2022 Author Posted March 6, 2022 Ok few pictures fram has had gsx 1100 e foot rests modified to fit the katana fram as previous owner had removed standard footrest side frames 1 Quote
busa ash Posted March 6, 2022 Author Posted March 6, 2022 Engine into frame is always a fun part of your day . Best method is engine on its side on a soft cloth chock engine on wood . Remove engine cam cover breather . Then lower frame over the engine .fit front engine mount bolt and rear engine mounting bolt . Then with the help of a friend . Lift frame with engine upright . Then the build can start . 3 Quote
busa ash Posted March 6, 2022 Author Posted March 6, 2022 Now lets start unpacking those boxes of parts 4 Quote
busa ash Posted March 6, 2022 Author Posted March 6, 2022 New quick action throttle and cables from nick at sps very quick delivery . Billet clutch pull arm Drilled fancy bolts to add a little bit of diffrence to this build , for the old oil way bolts 4 Quote

busa ash Posted March 6, 2022 Author Posted March 6, 2022 Now the engine was in a previous harris magnum build i stripped and sold . The inlet rubbers were bought from suzuki and are supple and so the new mikuni rs 36s with a little grease on the inlets and the help of a good strong mate Popped in lovley Throttle and cables fitted at same time 4 Quote
busa ash Posted March 6, 2022 Author Posted March 6, 2022 In the previous exhaust pictures i had drawn on the foot rest an area to be removed so the can could fit that bit better 4 Quote
busa ash Posted March 6, 2022 Author Posted March 6, 2022 Few more bits loosely fitted to give me the look . This is the result of 2 days of swearing . Today sunday is day of rest . 4 Quote
busa ash Posted March 6, 2022 Author Posted March 6, 2022 Took a gamble , saw a new koso unit on a build at the manchestwr show . Koso rx2n these show revs to 10k revs . Idea was i wonder if i can get that to fit into a standard katana 1100 gauge pod ? So contacted digital speedos spoke to jon and ordered the unit I will try to get a 3D printed in lay for the original gauge pod . 8 Quote
