Bugger the cover won’t go on the rotor is to thick??? Better spin it in the lathe to slim it down

Put some spacers on the back.

That Would mean spacing all the bolts, then the push rod would Be to short and there might not Be enough spline for the gear change ????

I’ll make the rotor smaller 

I think I had to do the same on me ‘arris when I did that

I had do same turn it down. You done well drilling and tapping in situ.

This is the 3rd one ive done in situ, they ends aren't hardened, just the working faces,  or weren't in the 3 ive done, i used a lathe center drill to start then brand new 3,4 and 5mm drills from work, Dormer I think, good and sharp when new.

I must got unlucky with last on i did as had use carbide in the lathe, but it did tap ok after so just must been hard spot after hearing about your results.

cover goes on now we have some clearance Clarence..

and it only bleedin works..

Worked as standard with the 750 motor.

I tried it that way JB, but I prefer the look of the small lever pointing up but that makes up side down changing ?

All sorted now anyway …

need to get it finished before the mot runs out so I can try it out, really looking forward to riding it

Bought a spare front wheel which happens to be silver so stuck it in to see what it’s like, and squirted some white paint on the mudguard
