Katana 1100 paint code

ive had a look but can't find any info, does anyone know the paint code for this paint ? its a light metallic greyish ??????  its similar to the 400 kat but the 400 is darker than whats on my tank.

cheers Toni.   my thoughts are if i can match the tank I'll just throw some paint on the fairing and side panels for now and get a proper job done in winter.

Sorry.. never owned a real kat.

Back in 03 i did own a gsx1100esd with a katana fairing.

The whole bike was painted bright metallic green.

Bikes from L to R... Mr7/11 - Patrick, mine and PP - Simon

 

Ps... google will be your friend for the most recent - available - paint for the katana grey :this is for the 750/1100 kat " Mine is in Bright Silver colour code13L coz its the bog standard colour i believe."

as for google ive been looking for ages and just can't find feck all ??????  never mind, I'll just have to go with the original plan and paint the whole bike silver

You want the paint code for the 400 kat.

I assumed the 750 / 1100 paint code.

no mate its for the 1100 tank, the 400 has a very similar colour but its a bit darker. i was after copying the tank colour

cheers blubber, its probably the best way just to do the whole bike at once

if you're matching an existing colour, go to a spray shop which has a photospectrometer, and they will scan your original colour and mix up the colour to match it.
