SATANSAM Posted September 17, 2020 Posted September 17, 2020 Hi there amigos, IT's simply that. Takes about 3km's to be able to ride without the troke pulled, and when I stop the mike for abour 10 min (when the bike was screeching hot) I have to pull the stroke again. ANY CLUES??? The bike has the muxture fine and al carbs balanced in its place. Cheerz! Sam. 1 Quote

slayer61 Posted September 22, 2020 Posted September 22, 2020 An intake leak would make it want the choke to run, and run hot as hades when it did. 1 Quote

Pudzrx Posted September 23, 2020 Posted September 23, 2020 Valve clearances too wide do not effect the running as such , but too tight and it will run crap ! Puddy Quote

CHeerz m8 OHC motors don't get clacky They get quiet and run like crap 3 years is waay too long to not maintain your motor. Do you expect to do nothing and it will run? 1 Quote

Do you expect to do nothing and it will run? You are right haha. Well, I made around 13000km, and it's now when I've done it, but the previous owner said HE NEVER DID IT IN ABOUT 40.000KM! Anyway, now it starts up much better. I found out that 3 of the valve pushers were too tight (0.10mm wouldn't fit! and the correct measurement is between 0.09 and 0.13). Having said this, now it struggles a bit when pushing the throttle at about 4000rpm...I supose I have to adjust the mixture now and maybe balance all 4 carbureters...Lemmy know if ideas ome up! Thanx again. Quote
Gixer1460 Posted October 23, 2020 Posted October 23, 2020 Where's the rubber gasket? I hope the red shite isn't supposed to be a replacement ! 1 Quote

Dezza Posted October 23, 2020 Posted October 23, 2020 It should only need a little bit of sealant around the bottom of the half-moon sections of the rubber gasket. 3 bond is grey so doesn't stick out like a sore thumb but it's a pig to remove. 1 Quote
