Malone
The Katana rebuild is well under way now, but I’ve got a part left over. It was in the box of bits, is it something I should be aware of? Clearly it’s a stop of some sort, but what? It’s about 6 inches long with a rubber bit Quote Link to comment

wraith
It looks like a home made bit? 1 Quote Link to comment
Blubber
might even be an exhaust strap? 1 Quote Link to comment
vizman
Or the thing to stop your centre stand hitting your exhausts? or the fluffle valve actuator strap? 2 Quote Link to comment

Malone
Thanks for the replies, perhaps it’s a home made bit for when it had a 4 into 1 Vance & Hines on it? I’ll put it on the sidestand and see if there’s an issue with the centrestand. of course it could be the fluffle valve strap, I hadn’t thought of that as I thought it was an option. I’ll check. Cheers. Quote Link to comment
Swiss Toni
Best thing to do with it ... Give it a coat of red lead, go to the nearest wide stretch of water, try to hit the opposite bank with it! Just sayin'! 2 Quote Link to comment
