Hacri Posted June 11, 2019 Posted June 11, 2019 Hi. Going to look at a 1994 gsx1100f on friday, anything special to look out for? It has been in a slow speed tumble, just a indicator broken and some scratches on fering. £1800, but will try to get it cheaper. Quote
clivegto Posted June 11, 2019 Posted June 11, 2019 (edited) Sounds like a lot of money for a crashed one. Brilliant engines they do have though. Edited June 11, 2019 by clivegto Quote
Blubber Posted June 11, 2019 Posted June 11, 2019 For that price I would expect 2 decent 1100f's and an extra parts bike Nice ones sell for under 1000 euro's, Ratted ones / damaged ones for 500. Both private sales and driveable. At least here in the Netherlands. Hope that helps Quote
Hacri Posted June 11, 2019 Author Posted June 11, 2019 Here in Norway a good one is £3-4000. EF is from £1500 in ok condition. I have a my84 EF, two my83 750es and a my80 750ex Quote
Shill Posted June 12, 2019 Posted June 12, 2019 Sounds like a trip to the Netherlands is on the cards! Quote
Blubber Posted June 12, 2019 Posted June 12, 2019 (edited) You might be right. There is a nice one on the dutch marketplace. (Www.marktplaats.nl) 950 euro, 1997 and only 33.000km Edited June 12, 2019 by Blubber Quote

wraith Posted June 12, 2019 Posted June 12, 2019 Yes £1800 is way to much to pay, especially for a damage one. I'd be looking at - £ 800 in that price at least. Grate motor, some would say the bike is a bit heavy, 16" front wheel so could be a bit twitchy, apart from that can't think of any bad points. Quote
Swiss Toni Posted June 13, 2019 Posted June 13, 2019 Only paid £400 for an '89 model a few years ago. Kept the motor, 'that site' got the rest Quote
