SPS has the answer to this, at a cost https://www.suzukiperformancespares.co.uk/product/gs1000-clutch-conversion-spacer-plate/2200/

Do it yourself online https://simplybearings.co.uk/shop/?gclid=CNXhsNnF6tMCFRQ6GwodBKEFhg Then once you got the number, ie 6200* then search Eblag for a cheaper option. Did mine using a GSXR1100L/M front end cos of its long forks. Can't remember bearing No but it wasn't difficult
-
bandit rulebook also says: congratulations on your new purchase. While you are enjoying this boat anchor consider this, A few more bob & you could have owned a Kymco
-
Pink would be more "you"
-
115 mains, middle clip, 47.5 pilots & 2.5 turns out. Not tried em yet though
-
L to R: Choke feed that doesn't come out, Then sleeve for Pilot jet to go down (mine doesn't have sleeve but doubt it makes a difference) Main jet.

I think you mean Pilot Screw (No19) And some markets had them to stop people fiddling with the factory settings. More often than not, they've been removed either to adjust richness or during a thorough clean. Like mine Screw them al the way in (not tight) & turn em out 2 to 2.5 turns out as a base setting. Make sure they're all the same.

I probably have one, are you on about the one that screws through the body on side of inlet?
-
I did buy some EBC ones, but it was so bad as is, i sold em on. Just assumed they were std. They aint green anyway!
-
I have a good one, but i've tried everything to make it lighter with no success. probably has less than 500 miles on it!
-
Never really liked them tbh
-
Think i'll rob the one off me Efe & see if it makes it any lighter, no point shelling out with zero improvement
-
I know OEM is the real option, but £60+ is a fookin lot! So anyone got decent recco's, maybe even a (teflon) lined one, cos as all GS owners know, Popeye arm is a must
-
Yes, i've got a set too. Don't think the greys work too well on std ignition & engine
-
I like that, although the end finish may make em look great or awful?
-
I did think this myself, but being where thay are, it may not last too long. Worth a try though, worst case it peels off & you end up with metal as it started out.
-
Yes & unless it's fully oil & heat resistant, they'll go manky fairly quick
-
I actually chopped the baffle in half cos it felt a bit strangled. As for size, no idea but i'd guess at 52mm?

Ignore that, just checked & when you turn the throttle cable housing, the arms do make an attempt to press the (non existent) rod. So looking from other side they do work & are identical to the individual set
-
Or he's deliberately done it so they don't hit the M4 bolt blocking the rod path perhaps? Any thoughts on the bowls though?
-
Yep it all makes sense & logical. Issue i have now then is, it looks like the set in pics have at some point had the rods/seals/plunger/springs removed & looks like an M4 bolt has been stuck in where the plastic arm would normally push the rod down. Why would someone do this? And also, the 4x bowls on the pic'd set are the 2nd pic, the disassembled set (with the rods etc still intact) are 1st pic, which shows a brass overflow tube sticking out? Any reason they would be different @Jaydee My thought is it shouldn't make much difference whichever i use?

Having studied them further, the ones above have the side tube/rod blanked off which explains why the float bowls don't have the plunger & spring, which the VM29ss do?
