I think i'll do some straights, down where the original pipes went, then off to right & into the cooler
-
That's the 2nd pic. The tank rests on the 90s & sits above by at least 4 inches

Can't find where i originally asked the Q, so i'll ask again. I asked, would the Slabby tank foul the AN6 fittings as they 90 degree over the top of engine. I was told that no probs, it'll fit. Well it don't & is nowhere near! I can't put the cam fittings down instead as the AN6 fitting will foul the carb. So how the hell do i get this to work?

Got mine off Eblag form Cruzinimage. Sound naff but they're a Japanese company & so far everything i've had has been spot on. Bought 2 carb sets for the X7 & they arrived in 5 days!

I'm gonna guess that he means BST34SS, but 36's will work too. 38's are silly money & 40's are a pain so i'm told

Public liability insurance. That's why most things along these lines are being stopped, to save money

VJMC can't help, another guy linked does it for a fiver, or nothing in my case as he couldn't find anything, & he has a v. good rep -
Or a Dowty washer

Sounds like a warped cover. Just get another & try that

I'll make an appearance, but none of 4 bikes are ready, not that i can get my leg over em yet anyway!

Not exactly a standard vin though is it. Suzuki shop only narrowed it down to a GT250EN X7 for both. -

Is it possible to do a clutch window on cable clutch oil boilers
CockneyRick replied to Jpich85's topic in Oil Cooled
It's so "old hat" these days, not many people do it anymore on any bike -
Got my Pressure plate tool of Eblag, just a modified pair of mole grips
-
Apparently not, 2 days of abuse & it won't give in
-
Don't look like it, i'm guessing the tightness is currently stopping that happening. Personally i wouldn't like that idea.
-
Kick & swear at it. It'll soon give up
-
And i did wonder why the fuel 2x T pieces at the bottom were a bit long, so had to trim the plastic down a bit!
-
Well it will be interesting when the fella gets back to me, i used 2x mounting rails from the oil cooled option, so in theory they should be spaced for that purpose
-
Other than it looking tacky & "car related" the Oil presure isn't great enough to blow them off. But why take the risk, to save money & actually look cheap
-
Ooh i'll have a look. Watercooled carbs would make sense!

That was 1st set (P/jet) i bought. I then sourced a 2nd set (non P/jet) & also got some useable parts off @Captain Chaos so i could rebuild both sets. The identical set i kept, & once completed i then sold on the 2nd set via FB to a guy (Greg Cole) in Germany/Swiss. I did tell him that they are definitely 38's but feel concerned as to what exactly they are? Both sets were hacked about to fit on Ford Pinto's which apparently is a normal thing (if you don't have a suzuki) to do! Below are the only pics i have, now they're gone!

I'm in, & even if i can't get a bike up & running, i'll come in the car
