  1. Not this time, the judges only had eyes for old shitters, sorry I meant British classics .
  2. We came, we showed bikes, we got disapproving looks... job done . Seriously though, thanks to everyone who rocked up with their bike and to those who visited too. Was great to see you all, a successful day with some brilliant double takes and comments about the bikes. The Norzuki in particular caught out plenty of the olds! Thanks to those who brought food along too (you know who you are), especially my mate Tim who sorted the kettle, drinks, crisps and biscuits etc out of his own pocket. Feel free to post up your photos from today here.
  3. Correctly adjusted flat beam (i.e. no 'kick up) to either side should pass OK. If it kicks up to the right you should be able to get away with correctly positioned thick tape masking off the kick up part of the beam, effectively making it flat.
  4. Read page 2 of this: http://oldskoolsuzuki.info/forums/applications/core/interface/file/attachment.php?id=3367
  5. Try it! Have run mine on 95-98 for over ten years, no problem.
  6. Good call on the lead ends. Mine threw up an Fi code for the rear misfiring which I fixed by doing the above.
  7. Does the fi light stay on on the dash? fresh petrol? Fresh plugs? Found my S to be fussy on both.
  8. You may have a point there, I worked in the cycle workshop and knew fuck all about cars .
  9. I worked in Halfords when I was a teenager, we'd get people in asking to buy temp gauges for their VW beetles.
  10. Not going to make it this year. Go fast. Keep upright. Drink beer. Take pics.
  11. Got the paperwork through. We've got a great stand area, right next to the bar and enough space :-)
  12. Please take a moment to read the rules about for sale / wanted ads.
  13. Which carbs / market bike? Doesn't sound like stock UK/JDM 86 750 with a vac tap.
  14. Nice bike and welcome back, however please read the rules.
  15. Please take a moment to read the rules.
  16. Might be worth mentioning which bike
  17. A mate is after a set for his 1100N, the kind that give a bit of protection to pod filters. Who is it that makes these?
  18. Looks more like it's because you referred to a powerscreen as a katana.
  19. Had an ignitech CDI on a (non-OSS) bike and was happy with it. Had a small problem with the software, their support was very quick with a new release in a couple of days which fixed the problem.
