Well did both head and base gaskets, no leaks upto now
Cheers all, that saved me ££££

I believe all the 1127 and 1157 barrels can be swapped, the gsxr1100 (1052) are shorter stroke than the 1127 and 1157

Does anybody know if a 6" gsxr750 srad rear wheel etc fit in a gsxr1000 k3-4 swingarm?
I know the rear brake hanger is different but anything else will it go straight in or not?
Thanks

+1 with Captain.
The you have, is his name Dick T and he has a mask on

What was the readings the bike shop said the bike had??
How low was it?
Was it comp or leak ?

You can get sump gaskets off eblag for under £10 posted. Ok not OEM but, I've never used a OEM gasket as they are way to much money and can't say I've have problems with aftermarket gaskets.

As above, carbs.
If the rings/bores are fu#ked at 22k it's had a very hard life, ask the bike shop what the compression was?
That will tell you if the bores etc are fucked.

Depending on who Meany miles it has on it, look at the crank shells (big ends) cam chain, cam chain blades.
Gear box, if you don't have a problem now leave it.
If he hasn't retired yet Roger Upperton Leeds is one of the best I'd say.

Anything will fit, just how much work there is to do it
But to your question, no.
The 750ef engine's are much smaller than the 1100 engines in most if not all dimensions most front to back, so you would have to do some stretching of the frame.
Is it worth it, that's down to you, I'd say no. Get a oil cooled motor put that in the 750ef frame then get a other GS or gsx frame for the 1100

Like all things tuning wise, every one/tuner has there own opinion

1216cc big bore, gsxr cams, ported head, rs carbs and a good exhaust and you should be there happily.

Always liked that GS

@370steve has done something
I've also seen a kwai GT rear light fitted, and I've got one of they you can have if you want it.

Dyna S on my gs1000 and has been on it for well over 20 years with no problems

If I remember the gs750 has a 20mm wheel spindle, if so yes it's just a case of making wider spacers to fit the sprocket side and the brake side.

Not sure that is true when compared to the dot head, it has a different shaped port floor that gives a different angle onto the back of the valve?
Bandit may be better for port work though, no idea on thatSorry ment for being flowed/ported over the gsxr1100 heads.
If you're putting hi comp pistons in no need for a dot head.

The bandit heads are better for flow and being ported
Gsx Efe 530 or 520 chain?

Not a lot, 3mm with the 520 chain. With the 530 you are rubbing the frame.
With the 520 and 3mm clearance I've not had it rubbing.
