Ok, mate at work has just got himself a b6 MK1
(just past his test at 33)
He asked me a question, and I don't know the answer to.
The question was, can he put the b12 rear wheel in the b6 swing arm?
I did say it maybe easier to put the b12 swing arm in but can a b12 wheel if in a b6 swing arm?

Billet Designs. He does some very nice trick ones, and not that much for what you get.

Probably not even a running bike, just empty cases etc etc. Must say unless you are a business advertising what you can do on there own stand, I hate this type of bike at shows.

Why to much to polishing, you'd never ride it incase it got dirty

I know cars use them, and they don't last as long as steel type and if not fitted with the right tool fuck up very quickly.

Carbs, just get some Dyna 155 main jets, set needles to center groove and set the pilot jet screws to 3.5 turns out
you will be in the ball park and just tweek to your exhaust/end can which will probably be just the needle height
One other thing I'd look at, is ever get a 4° advancer or (was on here somewhere) slot your atu back plate

I was a good boy, seen this post this morning before I went to work and didn't say anything about USA and non Katana's
Don't forget the 1100f (not kat) ran a big 52t rear sprocket and the b12 ran a 45t
That will give a big rev difference at top rpm

Maybe other people are use to other sites, where it takes over a week to get one reply if at all

There is a 1246cc piston kit for the B12 that does not need the cases boring.
That must be at max bore?

Seen (a long time ago) some gsxr rims welded to shaft drive wheel hubs but who did it I don't know, anything can be done but I would expect it to be more money than it would be worth.
Why not do the wheel swap bit, cheeper and much safer. B6 or early gsxr (4.5") wheels will go in.

It's the best thing to make the exhaust rot and you don't know till you leave it on the road one day

Maybe the o ring between the oil line and cooler where they bolt together has gone?
Like anything you don't know what's happened in the past and anything can brake

Didn't even know the oil cooled ones had a fan?
Is it a water cooled bike being 2006?

Looks a nice bike

When I haven't had any bar to hand I have used 6mm drill bits in the past.
just to help home out the seal
I've got some mild steel 6mm bar, some stainless 6mm bar and some TI 6mm bar so I think I'm ok for bar at the moment, but if it came to it I've got a load of long 6mm bolts

Wraith just use piece of silver steel and round the ends off.
Got some bar left over from when I made new one for the kat
I did have two standard b6 ones kicking about, but now I need one I can't find them
It's to go in the b6 motor that's going in the gs550.

Yes looks like gs850 or 1000.
The 650 seats do come up on that seat or you're down to making a new seat.
You might find the gs550 will be a nearer fit but won't be perfect

The gsx750e and gs650 are two completely different bikes.

He likes bandits
he got this very very cheap and is getting a stash of parts for it for next winter ISH, he's going to ride it as the 600 for this year maybe some of next, then a b12 motor goes in USD front end etc etc, he only paid £200 for it as a complete bike, as a non runner but it only needed a battery and choke cable.
