I guess you've checked it but is your fuel tank venting enough ?

1500 should get you custom made stainless steel replicas by an exhaust specialist with removable baffles etc ?
I know polished stainless is not the same colour as chrome, so obviously it could show once on the bike, but at least durability is guaranteed, compared to chrome jobs these days

You'll be told it won't make a notable difference i think

On the slingshots, what size were the stock fuel lines?
Two 600 mm lengths of 7 ID x 10.2 OD hose. Protected by spring sleeves.
Part number 09352-70104-600
Aftermarket you'd want to use Tygon hose made by Saint Gobain, it's the stuff to go for if you want high quality durable factory spec stuff

There was one out here running GSXR600 carbs but I think it took quite a bit of work. Standard 14’s have odd spacing and smaller throttle body’s than a lot of bikes. Great for grunt but not an easy upgrade.
Do you mean Gsxr600 throttle bodies ?
Spacing is indeed weird at : 72-110-72

Maybe he'll be missing a few teeth at some point ?

Provenance must be wrong then because there only seems to be one part number ? Maybe i'm not looking at the right thing ?
-
Seems like the same part number on both bikes ?

Well building a bike to such a clean condition including an engine swap will never be an easy job indeed.
That one does sound like an ideal combo though

Isn't that a 750/1100 difference ?

Yeah. I need alloy, and they can be shortened
I'm Just wondering if the profile of the ones i have are rounded out enough

I'm building the plans for a laser cut/welded bolt on shock mount to raise and push back the shock, i'll let you know how it goes

The stock intake rubbers on the dot heads are the best for fitting Mikuni RS carbs, and Suzuki has discontinued them, so join the rest of us in trying to find replacements
RS carbs are compatible with Bandit intakes thanks to being the same size as Bandit carbs

I've bought a cbr 600rr shock as it's a bit shorter so might be able to fabricate a shock mount that uses the original top shock mounting points. Fingers crossed
It indeed makes more sense to make a replacement steel mount that you can bolt to the original fixing points than to weld stuff onto the frame

I thought the 2 diameters for GSX air cooled engine stators are 93mm and 102mm, with matching rotors to suit ?
Also, i once got caught out by a non charging system because on an identical diameter of stators, the number of poles didn't match the number of magnets on the rotor, but it's been a while so thats the best i can remember.

As it stands i don't get how a catch can will avoid the issues described ?
If what you're calling the catch can is of the "hose stuck in an empty Heineken" type ?
Or are you talking about a built item with some kind of particularity ?
-
@baldricki might be parting with the whole koso/gsxr lights/laser cut support if it could fit what you're building
