I get the idea Joseph, thanks for the input but it still doesn't solve the issue of me walking like Bambi after a ten mile ride..
Fitting aftermarket rearsets that you can adjust to be able to stretch your legs a bit more + I fitted LSL bar risers on my 11R, it would make the position closer to a GSXF for you

Hi.
I did this to my '93 boiler :
K8 fork wheels and brakes, rims powdercoated metalflake pink, Nitron race pro shock
Improves the riding, makes for a great resto mod look, is easy to do and very fast to finish as well. Cost is reasonable too.
Seems like your bike is the perfect candidate for such an update

Right, well turns out the 2 sump screws below the filter were not there, fitting them did get the engine drip free.
Concentrating on finding the usuals stopped me from spotting that

Highly likely, i have a Reliant Robin they got the ignition timing setting wrong in the Haynes manual ahaha
But still, I must be missing something somewhere, it makes no sense
-
Well, basically, on cars i've always hand tightened them, on this seeing leak i thought maybe it should be tighter. So i did.
Then checking the haynes it stated screw till contact then 2 turns, so thats what i did on my last attempt
Anyways. No idea whats going wrong.

Nitron race pro shock off a pre 2015 S1000RR is plug and play and works well on my 7RW

Hey
Right well so far i have done the following
- removed filter to check mating surface condition. Looks fine.
- checked for seepage at the return tubes, top and bottom. Looks dry
- checked beneath the exhausts at the drain hole area. Looks dry
- removed the plug coils, checked in the plug well. Looks dry
- checked the edge of the rocked gasket qll round, looks dry
- checked cylinder to block and head to cylinder surfaces. Looks dry
Stumped

No seal left on the block, i tightened it as per the haynes, hand screw till contact then 2 turns (almost)
A mate mentioned the leak may be coming from higher up, i need to check the cam cover and oil return tubes, the engine being black and me working underneath yesterday evening i may have missed the oil is just dripping from the filter giving the impression that its at fault
I'll have a look and keep you posted

Hi
I've done a search but really can't figure why i'm getting oil seepage from the filter
The engine surface seemd clean, dont know whether i overtightened the filter ? But i dont think so
Really annoying that such a stupid job is keeping the bike off the road

Hello
I'm on the final stages of my 11R, and i'm having clutch problems.
Here are the specs :
- 1216cc
- 11F cases
- 6 speed 1988 7R gearbox
- a spring type clutch (to be defined ?)
- ZX9R master cylinder rebuilt new
Its basically not disengaging.
I've tried a 38mm and 35mm slave, nos change.
I've tried 11F and 11R pushrods, the short rod pushes the slave piston out, the longer rod doesnt do shit.
I made a longer rod, didnt change shit.
What else can i do ?
Thanks

What colour are you looking for ? They still seem to have the ones i need, 200 bucks per side fairing, 180 per seat side, and 120 for the front fairing :)

They stated that it must have been old school screenprinting with the same pigments as the tank paints, so not possible
Any metallic suzuki decals will have to be bought through suzuki

Hi
I have just bought a 93 pink and purple W
I'm wondering how the decals were made back in the day ?
The gradient from purple to pink looks dotted like offset printing, but it has the same metallic effect as the painted parts (and same colour for the purple)
How were these made ?
30 years later, who has the now much more modern technology to replicate this effect ?
Thanks

I read an article aboit a guy building a track kat and he did state that painting the fairing + cooking did deform it a bit
Best bet for the curing process :
mount it on the fairing stay using screws but not screwing them down, just locating
I'm sure that will avoid any distorsion since the fairing will be braced in its proper postion
