  1. Cheers, not especially looking for Garrett's, it was just an example. @MeanBean49IHI vf23 sounds like a very good idea for my likes
  2. Hi There! As the voices told me I should be looking for a ceramic ball bearing turbo to fit to my setup, I am looking after some deep dungeons on the internet but cannot seem to find the correct answer which are good options. @Leblowskiis using a Garrett GT2560R which would be great, but what would interest me is which car engines have turbo's like that? It makes the sourcing of a hairdryer for me a bit easier. I am not looking for very big BHP numbers but just a fine usable turbo with a wide powerband.
  3. My opinion on this as a Cloggy and OSS related, there aren't many interesting bikeshows/events to which we can attend as OSS. Yes, meeting up somewhere is always an option but this would be more of a chitchat day/evening rather than attending an event. In my opinion a fair bit of people always attend the Biker Classics at Spa but most of the people are racing their dinosaurs rather than showcasing them. Shows like fighterama and Street or Track aren't happening anymore. Compared to the UK the bike scene is quite different over here...
  4. That would explain why my 1100F engined Katana with B12 cooler runs hot...
  5. I have one of those sets which you've posted in your first post, as there was no-one who could reproduce them else. They look good. Still waiting to fit as I want to fit them on the bodywork and then apply a clearcoat.
  6. Yes, but that was also combined with a K1-2-3 rear shock which rises the rear a bit. On a slabby these forks are allright, but the bike will sit lower to the ground in general. Also, I do think some stiffer springs will help a bit.
  7. Welcome! No, old accounts don't work anymore as the software has been renewed and we didn't have appropriate access to the old database for info copying Nice looking Kat
  8. Ah shit, that's a shame of how your story ends... You can also upgrade a Suzuki with the R1/6 running gear, practically the same And that's a bit unfair to share the grid with new 1000's.
  9. Check his project topic, engine wasn't right.
  10. Any updates on the bike/racing @maxwin?
  11. But they sell them without hoses? Well, going to need some more for my fuel pump so I'll put the order together this weekend and we'll see from there...
  12. Cheers for this. ID on the AN6 hose sold here is 8mm. Reference about AN hose sizes: https://www.pegasusautoracing.com/document.asp?DocID=TECH00096 [
  13. Great @Markz9, that was just the info I was looking for. Pic would be great
  14. Head cooler indeed might be the next step, but just to be more flexible with fitting (honestly Viz, it's not for the bling') I want to replace the std lines. Just to be clear, in the first link in my topic is a reference to: Suzuki GSXR Cam Cover Oil Feed Adapter In AN-6 (AN6) - Head Cooler TOP x 2 AN -6 (AN6) Male To AN8 Female Tee Adapter Fitting x 1 Suzuki GSXR Engine To Cam Cover Oil Feed Adapter In AN -8 (AN8) - Head Cooler x 1
  15. I need to replace the top oil lines on an 1127 engine. The ones which run from the bottom block to the top head, between the carbs. I'm looking for a Torques setup, like this: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Suzuki-GSXR-Cam-Cover-Oil-Feed-Head-Cooler-Adapter-KIT-AN-6-AN-8-Black-/380728047582 What do I need more? AN6 Hose (obviously) 2x straight AN6 fittings 1x AN6 90 degree bend 1x AN6 45 degree bend Am I missing anything?
  16. They're all set up and ready to go. With @Rene EFE, @Leblowski and @bruteforce
  17. Soooo, who's coming to the Bikers classics the upcoming weekend? We'll be there in the paddock with Team Banana, together with @Rene EFE, @Leblowski, @bruteforce. http://www.bikersclassics.be/?q=en If your not riding, it is certainly worth coming over just to have a wander around the paddock. It's such a big place and stuffed with all things classic bikes.

    TT meet

Yeah well we never went to see the helmets and would be rude not to. We can meet somewhere along the weekend? We will probably be in Peel in the afternoon anyway at Peel day.
  19. Well yes Arttu that's the case and spoke to Bruteforce (and Sander) about it. I will contact you! Not looking for stupid numbers btw.
  20. I do already have a fuel pump, not sure if I can use that one though. @Arttu is certainly the man, I know! Thanks
  21. Well, I thought by myself I better start building a bike properly. So before turbocharging it, I want to replace the carbs on an 1100 (currently 1127) engine with throttlebodies from a K2 600. What would be the other requirements to get this running NA? I need an ECU system to power the TB's, maybe different ignition pickup etc?
  22. Carbon ceramic actually...
