  1. Cheers, I'll have a look if I can find that article. You mean this by @Captain Chaos? http://oldskoolsuzuki.info/archives/category/modifications/wheel-swaps
  2. The original 1 pot stoppers on one of my ET's aren't that good. Is there an easy possibility to swap for a different caliper or caliper and discs, without having to fabricate spacers and stuff? I would prefer to keep the original front wheel and fork for now. For the rear i've found out that the EFE caliper should be more or less the same, but rear isn't that important cause I rarely use it
  3. It only does matter in really high revs. Also refer to the article on the frontpage: http://oldskoolsuzuki.info/archives/531
  4. Nice Arttu, they might work! Can you send me your drawings? PM'ed you.
  5. Can you make a detailed pic from both sides and show me how it's done? i've made a picture of your bike and that setup before, but can't find the pic anymore...
  6. I have another option of making a set of custom rearsets. And on my other ET I have some (rather nice) one-offs which could be copied.
  7. Thanks Arttu. Do you have a picture of how they are mounted? Sounds like a good option.
  8. Well, it might have been posted before, but I fitted a B12 engine to my ET. But still need to decide on which Rearsets to use. What did you use, or what do you recommend? I've got some B12's lying around, but they don't fit without modifying I reckon. Tried a set of EFE hangers but they don't fit. Other options which are practically bolt on?
  9. Hmm would it be an upgrade? I'm sure I can get a set of forks around here (Holland), but thanks
  10. Got a B12 fork already, is going in my other ET (which will also have an oilcooled engine). It's shorter than the 81cm original ET forks. Would prefer to have two different bikes.
  11. I'm thinking of finding a replacement for the original 35mm front fork one of my ET's has. This fork has a fork length of 81cm. But I would like to keep the original 19" wheel on the bike. Who has an idea of a nice RWU/RSU fork to upgrade the bike's front without going too modern.
  12. Fun day, first ride for the Purple ET. Some OSS: A really nice GS1000 coming together:
  13. There are also a few companies over here which could do that @spondonturbo. I reckon Sander will probably pop over to HK suspension or Hyperpro. My favourite OSS bike of the moment!
  14. I've actually have 3 braces now, and two forks (Telefix and Micron braces). one 750ET from which one of the lower bolts snapped inside the fork. The 1100 fork is actually in quite a good nick, except for the top air fill adjust thingy which didn't hold any pressure anymore. Never noticed that the 1100 fork has thicker legs, will measure that tonight.
  15. As said, the article once written by Mr7/11: http://oldskoolsuzuki.info/archives/531
  16. Ah that definately is what CC is saying. Got the problem myself on the BST38 Mikuni's off the 750 L/M. I will post up Mr7/11's journey to the inside of these carbs at the Vault soon.
  17. Well, got myself a nice and tidy 750 ET, but I also have an 1100 ET. I was wondering, what exactly is the difference between the front suspension on the 750 and the 1100? As the 1100 forks have a (rebound?) screw on the bottom and some adjuster thingy in the middle. Would it be interesting for the handling to change forks? And yes, I would like to stick to the original forks/wheels so a later model RWU or USD is for now, no option.
