  1. The 5" lights turned up so I roughly mounted them on the top cooler bracket to see what they look like. I also started to make the bottom oil cooler mount. Going to make something that bolts to the sides that directs ait to the cooler like I've seen on some LC's and I seem to remember 370steve did some thing like this as well.
  2. Hi Mark, yea I heard that Harris used to get the rubber rings from the hoover shop down the road.
  3. For the right hand side panel the frame already had a tab on near where the repaired mushroom is on the side panel which was nice coz it was an easy job to make a bracket unlike the left side.

  6. I've ordered 2 of those 5" lights I mentioned earlier.
  7. Function is the most important to me. Aiming for 300hp with good handling as well, but it's a 30+ year old Spondon so I wanted it to look good as well.
  8. Slitting disc tin just happens to be 5" which is good for a mock-up, it's also the size wanted but there hard to find. Saying that though I've found some bottom mount thin 5" lights with high and low beams.

  10. Goin to try some 5" spot lights but there not easy to find.
  11. No 1 plan, big cooler up front, intercooler above turbo and head cooler in seat unit. No2 plan, head cooler up front with big cooler above turbo. No 3 plan, big cooler above turbo with head cooler in seat unit. Intercooler should give about 10hp more than if it didn't have one maybe more.
  12. Tried some different size lights for a look see. We start with 4" then 4 1/2" and last one is 6".
  13. Had to cut the grass, that meant moving the lawnmower so I was able to get Spondon number 10 out of the shed for a walk round for a look see.

  15. The 7 1/2 slabby cams will be more top end than the b12, the 11F cams have the low down grunt like b12 cams but with more top end than the b12 cams but not as much top end as the 7 1/2jk cams
  16. Bought another back light just to get the bulb holder's as I couldn't find any others the same. Probably is I just couldn't find them lol. Is a gsxr400L I believe back light which is the same as the RGV 250vj22 they look like gsxr1100m back lights but there bigger. Light came with the 400 light frame which is different to the 250. So I chopped it up stuck it back together and extended it a bit. Fits now .
  17. Chicken feed costs the earth nowadays. Quality of the damper really is fantastic. Anyway I knocked a bracket up this afternoon to hold the middle in place and the other end bolts straight onto the k8 yoke. Wants a bit of adjustment but all is well .
  18. Chinese steering damper £37 delivered made of billet fully rebuildable, 26 settings and anodised black. How on earth can they make them that cheap.
  19. Made some spacers for the risers to put the fat bars in a similar position to the blue Renthal's I had fitted before. Makes it a lot more comfortable riding position for me.
