Paul, looks like I'm vanless until mid Jan, automatic fan belt tensioner on back order. Got the bikes, might not have the means to get them there, it's only 11 miles away, any helpers? 40 minute turn around?
Dont forget what I do for a living! I can get most parts to you next day!

Not quite, slabby covers have the gear linkage on them, much like teapots.
they’ll all physically bolt on but making them work isn’t quite the sameIf you’re cable converting a slabside, a 600 teapot is the most straightforward IMO

all straight on as far as I remember. You might have to swap sumps around @fatblokeonbanditcan you confirm?

Is that peninsula? I did message but it's been read and not replied to.
Yeah he's not the most responsive unless its still hes already stripped and tagged up. I tend to wander in there and take bikes apart myself
Work wise, absolutley none iirc. Your 600 out, drop a 750 in. You might need a clutch cable

I'm trying to wangle a dot motor out of the breakers in Wallasey, I dont hes got half a dozen gsxr750 engines in there. Want me try and get one out of there cheap for you?

Yep, doesn't look right. From what I know, that should not be able to protrude like that unless the orifice has been drilled out
Or the tip of the air screw has snapped off and is jammed in there. @Omegastevewhip the screws out mate and stick a pic up of them
-
90mm spacing, what’s my options?
6 pots are tossI know slingy and B12 Nissin 4 pots will do the job well and some Trumpet calipers are the same?
anything else worth looking at?
Theyre going on J1 ZX6 forks for reference. Fitted to an OSS obvs

Nice, I'll have a hunt whilst I wait for grumpys to reply. Bearingshopuk list the size for £1.51 in a nitrile oring x5 for £1.51.
Be worth buying a dozen at that price!

Just to double check, csmnl list the size as 2.4x39.7mm. Which is correct? If not sure I'll just measure mine of course.
I think they'll all interchange to be honest, if you follow all the part number supercessions on cmsnl theres a dozen or more sizes all listed as being compatible with each other
-
That looks like 6 or maybe 8mm

Fantastic, what's grumpys?

Or the Grumpy1260 page on faceache

Unless theyre damaged, you wont need to replace the carb rubbers themselves, just the O rings. Just be dead careful taking the JIS screws out that hold them on. Dont try and do it with a Phillips screwdriver as it'll cam out and damage the head of the screw
If you cant find the Lidl ones, you'll want 4 of 0928040020 from Suzuki. Theyre only about £4 a throw. might be a quid cheaper off Grumpys
O Ring(d:2.4,id:43.2) is the size btw

Thanks so much bud, I'll get them stripped down this weekend but I won't bother you over the festive period. Let me know how much you want to cover it and I'll make sure to square you up.
Its all good dont worry, just bring cake

Yeah of course mate, give me some notice to buy some cleaning solution!

Definitely worth a try! Any ideas where to get them?
*if* theyve still got them, Lidl had a selection box of O rings and there was half a dozen in there the right size for the inlet rubbers. I reckon your pilot circuits are blocked though

I’ve got an ultrasonic bath you can use if you need
-
Have the carbs been through an ultrasonic bath @Omegasteve?
No amount of carb cleaner or compressed air will clean the pilot circuits properly- 1

Get your thread going, you’ll get everything you need here

Welcome!
For all intents and purposes, the 'zuma is a twin shock bandit. Very modifyable and can be made into a pretty cool bike
Get a project thread going and some more pics! We like pics..

That’s the kiddie, been meaning to make one for ages
I found a spot weld drill was good for flattening the top of a snapped stud, you get to drill it proper then with no slipping

Yes you can get bolt on drag slots. Very popular with Americans along with neon lights, excessive chrome and removing half your front brakes.
Dont. They’re crap and unsafe. If you want a longer arm get a set of proper drag slots welded in
