  1. Rene, I'm glad you liked it. I didn't realise how warped the brakes had got until I rode it back down to the campsite. Good consistent lap times considering.
  2. Sold off the wet bike today to fund more racing.
  3. Team 82 On Don's GSXR11 Slabby this time
  4. We are in! Teams 81 and 82 in the 4hr endurance
  5. I've just measured both 750 g forks and 1100h. 750 ones are 745 from axle centre to top of leg and 1100 are 770. They are both off the bikes.
  6. Actually I'm thinking of selling it and building a 750 for a wet bike.
  7. Just a screen and a seat pad and we're done.
  8. So far I've only entered the classic endurance at Spa on the Harris. I'm away abroad working for the next 4 months. I'm hoping to get back to do the Bob Mac and hopefully the first Melville club meeting.
  9. The wet bike is getting there too.
  10. New steering damper fitted. Originally from an R1. A good clean and powder coated wheels fitted.

I think the pink wire is for the gear indicator. Just behind the front sprocket is the neutral/gear indicator. If it only has 1 wire then it's just a neutral switch.
  12. Isopropyl or Pure alcohol. It's about 6 quid a litre and the Wintergreen is abou 7 quid for 100ml. I've had mine for years and used it many times. Because the jar is sealed the solution doesn't evaporate. It really works well.
  13. If your inlet rubbers are hard, the best way to soften them up is get a Kilner jar( the type with the locking lid), buy 1litre of pure alcohol and 100ml of Wintergreen, put all of both into the jar along with your inlet rubbers and leave for a couple of weeks at least. The longer you leave them the better. The alcohol opens the pores of the rubber allowing the Wintergreen into it and they come out soft and pliable. Pure alcohol and Wintergreen are available on the bay.
  14. Delighted that you are getting so excited about this. Wish I'd been there.
  15. Mine uses the standard arm with the ends cut off, R1 adjusters and narrowed brace welded on.
  16. That's not loads. Must try harder.
  17. Sorry I missed your call last night. Didn't I give you all the spacers with the wheel? If not I will still have them.

The forks on the Donnington Harris are from a ZRX 1100. They are 43mm and the longest readily available RWU forks.
