Front end looks lush with them yokes. Nice.

Oops. Soz. Me think of k1 spacing. I should have said 214. Hopefully you're sorted now.
-
You need to have them skimmed down to 2.5 mill each side if you use dics carriers or buy some stock plate . Is this for yer wp? Spacing should be 208 as standard.

Having said all that, i would prefer the later setup.! Pita so check level having to take tank off. Silly suzuki.
Probs the guy with big hammer sense of humour cause we're w/cooled.

Sounds like the one. Just check a microfishe. You'll see the other setup the above chaps are refering to.

Oh and dont need rearsets as i made adapter plates to take later models.
Dont wish to send engine away for someone else to tune as thats where i get my kicks from by Doing it myself but some things i cant do like making cams, etc. Sometimes wish it were an oil boiler! But hey...
-
Ok. Cant find anyone who sells cams for 750wn-ws models.
Anyone know who does them? Or do i need to send standard cams to be profiled. Maybe pops?
I know these models were hated when first released but surely someone made tuning parts for them! Its hard enough trying to find rearsets.... grrr
Cheers.

P/R models same as 600 750 gsxr and rf900. Later s and onwards changed to different setup.

Not sure on lengh of 11 rods though, think bearing size differ.

@creynybaa. What were ya planning with rf900 con rods? I'll double check measurements. Anything else I can help with?
-
Yes. Crash bars do work but can't get lower farings on.

Just read this. I'm hoping to go but money tight. Love to meet ya all and at donnie and maybe chase ya round track.. i know i need to be quick sooo... maybe .
I'll check my lotto! If i cant I'll definitely see ya there to oogle some fine oss bikes.

I personally would rebuild them. At least ya know your carbs will be spot on. Second hand pair might be just as worn. 1100 are 40mm, 750 are 38mm. If ya want to fit 38mm on ya need the inlet rubbers too. Should be spaced the same as the casings are same on 600 750 900 and 1100w.

As this is the start of a very long journey of prototyping, me like the thinking @gixer1460 approach of cams and springs is the budget end of tuning I'll go that way as the spring board.
This will be my first in tuning a multi gsxr so any advise as i go is always appreciated. Thank you for all for your input. I've done the two stroke tuning thing and many a four stroke but things have moved on greatly so one needs to get up to speed.
Right, I've done the big bore by adding rf900 crank, rods, pistons, barrels from three or four sets and weighed them till i got a matching set. All within half gram or less. Yippee!
Crank? Balance and lightened? Or just check for balance?
Head will just be" milded clean " in the ports, exhaust port polished. Done this before on 750 and worked a treat. Good starting point. 38mm from 750w/p with ramair socks. Carbs will be fettled with rebuild.
Should keep be busy over winter.

Hi tl1000r, not done it yet as no spare money. The valves are same in stem size, collets, length etc, but valve( inlet )for rf are 1mm bigger in dia. I know i will gain as you say " sum of parts" just wondered on cost and gain in hp, tho its for track only I'm thinking maybe gain better mid range?

Nice one chap. She now ready for the road?

Hows that hub? Any luck.

Tis a very job. You can have an additional removable baffle just to slow down the thro gases to take the edge off.

Does the neutral light go out when you out it in gear? If so then like Jameskat said. Maybe your relay. Follow the green wire.
