if your swingarm has an "R" on the back if front of the wheel its a k series if the front part is all cast its a srad.

ooh. lovely start to your project. engine inlet looks nice and clean. your forks. if you measure the at the yoke clamps soon tell. tl has bigger ones by a millimeter. 55mm i believe but i could be wrong.

600's may be a wee bit short, you may wanna use the thou's coil sticks, wire them in series.

they made the 600 like the wn-ws with cradle frames so yes, should have bolted subbie.

i assume you are going to use the standard air box. if you're thinking of pods or soxs then you will need a dyno to set them up. not easy and a bloody good and trusted dyno op is a must. dyno-jet only ever made a stage one kit for the w/c 750's. tho i would use pro-jet kit 3.0 if i were going after market kits.

main jet on carbs 1&4= 112.5 2&3 carbs=115 pilot jet 35 on all carbs

is that the low tension side that jumps about?

if the contacts in the soleniod are worn then the voltage would jump all over the place. alot of current flows throughs there. or have you tried the starter button? could have some crap in there too. use yer ohm meter to check the resistance when you press the button.
wish i were closer i would love to have a looky see. your doing a grand job!!

carbs will be a tight fit to top frame rail if fitting the 1100 in 750 frame but not much else to worry about...
