5.5 on my wn. Wouldn't want 6 inch rim. Bike turns nicely on 180/60. Tried a 190 and that were like a bus trying to turn. Loads of input on bars.Understeered (slidey, not good on a car let alone a bike!) .. and flat spot on stretched tyre is a little interesting when you try to lean........

Cool. What size jets you using?

Seen some 98 GSXR600/750 stick coils, anyone used them, don't want to get them only to find they're unsuitable.
Any part numbers I should check?
Thanks
The coil sticks you need are off k1 750 or k1 1000 onwards. 600 sticks too short normally.

I was just about to ask that question.
On the question about 'where it sits on tang" if yer carbs are upside down when you assemble them they should be nicely centred. Just check the metal clip from float valve is on the tang.

I were thinking along katanamangler's philosophy . Not a fuel probably as it would be running to lean. So possible a plug swap.
-
Agree katanamangler but 112.5 are far too small for 750 head on 900. Hopefully no burnt valve's, eh.

Surely it would run lean if on standad jets? Need at least 118- 122?

Maybe yer petcock is worn. Had to buy another one myself after installing new kit petcock still leaked. Unless you put sealing in backwards?

Yes slot straight in but you will need the chain adjusters sliders as they are diff to the banana arm. Everything else fits. But dont forget to put your bearing inserts from the old arm into the new arm. Jobs a good'un then.

You could go k1 750.

Yes. Oem works! I have been using just oem on my 750wn off the newer bikes just to keep it simple, costs down, and they fit but thought shum digital clocks might bring her up. Cheap not always cheaper! I'll try to upload wire codes tonight.

1100 arm toooo long.
Swap it for the braced arm off 94 95 model. Will sharpen your steering. Turn alot easier .
Oh and your linkage you have should fit too.

Ill give it a go. If it dont work with 12v then might tempt 240v ac see how it likes that..

Keeping them. Me and them clocks done lots of miles.
-
Do they have a vacum pipe to the petcock? Check if leaking or trapped.
Just throwing ideas out.

91 octane? Can you get some higher octane like 95?

Do gsxr750 k1 clocks work on wn? I.e. straight wirings or do i need a d/a convertor?
Errr.. That will polish out. Oops.

Not quite why she went bang. Well, dint go bang as such. After my last trackday she were running good all tho i could only hit 124 mph down bently straight i suspected head gasket gone, rho no complaints as the engine had done well over 100,000 miles. Thought ok. Time for a refresh. Anyways, i rebuilt engine , new every thing, first test ride sounded lush. Pulled so much better and no flat spots.
Anyways, just about run the old gal in after about 450 miles everything running lovely. As i pull out of a junction i heard a ticking noise then so as ya do flicked the kill button. Recovered bike in van and this were the result. Spark plug had no inner electrode and found one of the valve collects forged inside the valve retainer.
Still dont know why she broke but hey its part of the fun, yes? Only cost i lost wes the cost off complete gasket set at £66.
This happened in may this year.
