Anyone tell me length of standard dog bones for gsxr750wr/ws on braced arm?
How much would 5mm shorter jack up the rear? The ones i made are too long. Approx 204mm centre.
Now making some.
Cheers in advance

Thank you @markfoggy for insite. All good stuff. I love Phase one. Awesome team.
Some pics of my attempt at engine casing. Prototype 1.only made with play doh at mo. Hoping to purchase some proper clay stuff. I remember PB mag making some knee sliders from it and it worked very well.
Should be soft enough to spread load without breaking casing..
Let the piss take begin!

Yoshi look yummy.
Best of luck looking for seat cowl. Very rare and last one i saw on "that site" went for £160.00! But someone might have one on here. Place add in wanted section.
I just fitted brace arm on mine from 94/95 model. Made some dog bones same lengh as banana arm but their too long! Sits like a chopper at mo! Haha.
Second ones need to be bit shorter.

Dynojet only do a stage 1 kit for them. So maybe just a case of tweaking. Maybe drop the needle one notch. Better to be tad rich then lean.
Getting on dyno would sort it if ya can spare the dosh. Money well spent.
Spending a bit of time balancing the carbs works wonders too .
They have a power jet that only work with the air box. Comes into play after 10,000 just to richen top end but normally blocked on uk bikes. Worth checking to see if its been done
Check " Factory pro "site for more info. Bloody good read on that site.
Got any pics of said needles jets?. We like pics
Full yoshi very nice. Pics please!
I did have a full yoshi set but downpipes rotted (mild steel) but still got yoshi can rs3. Bike love the end can but non motorbikers dont .

Hello Hawky, heard a rumour that they are very difficult to run/setup on pods. Best keep airbox and set the carbs up.
But i stand corrected if anyone knows different.
I tried once but just hit brickwall at 6000.
Didnt have any more jets to play with so stuck box back on.
Be cool if someones done it.

Going to make a mock up weekend, maybe using clay base type stuff.

Ugly as in design. but in racing dont matter so much i guess.
Me thinking as just replacement cover for a more robust type casing.
More elegant solution ..
If you see where i am going.

I remember seeing a few club racers use a length of flat bar that bolted on the front engine mount, was bent out to the edge of the case then another 90 degree bend backwards to cover the pickup cover etc. Had a strip of rubber behind it to stop the guard smashing through the covers in the even of an off. Don't know how effective it was but must have given some protection.
Sounds like a plan but bit ugly. I'll try to get domething sorted weekend.
Need some volunteers to fall off their bikes tho.
Anyone fancy being a crash test dummy??

Hi pmd31421, be a lot easier fixing the problem but maybe more fun adding a problem fitting the b12.

Nice to know yer bike is running sweet.
Thing is on mounting whoopsie bungs on these frames is that they're mounted on strong mounting points.
Their are none on these bikes. As i normally use fairing lowers cant make a frame as you desribed.
Hi Bernardo , As for them nrc casings. Last time i asked they didnt do them for these engines. Wish they would tho.!!!
Was thinking to make something for the timing case as thats the one that gets trashed on a spill. Let ya know how i get on.
But hopefully someone may have a solution.

Been thinking about this too, but not really come up with anything. Nothing to fix them to.
Hopefully someone will come along.
Hows the bike running?

That is a very bad render, id ya can remotely call rendering! Look at the rear s
Paddock stand. Looks like its floating below the axle. Why would pick the bike up on the rear axle? Not that there is anything touching? The headers dont fit in the head!!! Very bad, bad, bad.
Dont fool the oss brigade. .
Would be awesome if it were real tho.

well I reckon it was the spark plug, seen it happen on a few 2 strokes years back. Sure glad it's not a common occurance .
Haha. Yeah them were the days, eh.
Do miss them strokers. At least they were fairly easy and quick to repair.
Oh and push when they broke down!!!

Trying to find the valve retainer with the forged collet. Basically its sitting where the shim sits on top. Thought thats different!

Athena. If gaskets were different surely more than one cylinder would have been effected? And this happened 450+ miles after rebuild.
Me thinking just one of those things.
-
Maybe pulled a wire off when you cleaned carbs?
-
Ooh. Would it be possible to have blower and turbo with nitro? Oh and wheelie bars too.

All the above and more.

Hi Hawky, that would be cool if no one answers. Not standard shock, shum after market mutli adjustable italian pialoia thingy. Cant remember how the names spelt. It's bit longer but bike still sits on its ass!
