Hello

I've started a slabby 1100 track bike project , and i found 2000 r1 swing arm in my garage. First i thought i will cut the bracket and weld it on stock swing, and this morning i start wondering os it possible to use the hole unit ? Does anyone do this swap ? Major issues ...?

The bracing fits quite nicely on the gsxr arm.

The pivot section of the r1 arm is much wider than the gsxr frame, you need to cut of the ends and 're machine the bearing housings. a fiddly job. Then you need to sort the linkage and mounts out.

sorry for offtopic can i use 6inch wheel in slabby's arm ?

No not really the r1 arm in my pic has a 6 inch wheel but will only work with a 190 tyre & the one with the standard arm with the brace welded on has a 5.5 with a 180 tyre.

That is what i expected , and sorry for it, because i have plenty of 200 tyres which are not so ggod for racing but good enough for slabby track days
