Here we go again... at least I have part numbers - high flow oil pump gears 1150.

I have found the following info... 750 oil pump gears for GS1150.

The standard gears are 34 drive 33 driven. The 750 gears are 38 drive, 29 driven.

Driven Oil pump gear 16331-45000

GEAR, OIL PUMP DRIVE 16321-45002

SPACER 16325-45001

BEARING 09263-36002

Are the spacer and bearing needed? 

I have removed the original gears and have ordered the above parts but are the spacer and bearing needed? I would have thought they are a direct swap?

Pretty sure you dont need spacer and bearing, best way would be to cross reference on AlphaSports site maybe, fitted 750 gears to my earlier ET engine and didnt need to change spacer or bearing.

Where did you order from as Suzuki stopped making these about 5 odd years ago and the back-order stocks have been dwindling ever since so are getting rare NOS.

I put these in mine.....gears went in easily,straight swap

Yeah, you don't need any additional parts if the spacers/bearings are ok - just the two gears.

Pump doesn't 'work' better - it just works faster.

What year gs750? Any gs750? In case I could just find a whole bike or motor cheaper. I'm sure those particular gears would be just fine.

These higher volume oilpump gears were fitted to both the 4v GSX750's (1980-1983) and 2v GS750's (1977-1979).

Nice. So I can throw an offer on this (or just buy it "firm") and still have the whole rest of the bike to part out. Rather than spend 300 bucks on 2 small probably sintered shit quality metal gears (which work just fine though and are probably still ok in the donor bike.) 

Just saying. At that price why dont I just keep an eye peeled for a parts bike.
