SiBag Posted January 10, 2017 Posted January 10, 2017 You could use heat shrink. Iv used self amalgamating tape when doing harness repairs / mods. Weird stuff no glue, it just sticks to itself and turns into one piece. You can get it from Maplins etc.. Quote
Swiss Toni Posted January 10, 2017 Posted January 10, 2017 Go with the Self Amalgamating Tape! Makes a good job! Quote

Dezza Posted January 10, 2017 Posted January 10, 2017 Remove old tape, remove all the old glue from the wires with white spirit, then put the loom in a delicates bag and put it in the washing machine when the missus is out. Dry and check all the connections, then retape with proper loom tape (easily available and cheap on interweb). Quote

Sheep Posted January 11, 2017 Posted January 11, 2017 (edited) I used the 'cloth' type loom tape.Much better than sticky goopy insulation tape, ldoesn't age like insulation tape and is soft to the touch, lovely if you have girly hands like me!! Edited January 11, 2017 by Sheep Quote
