wraith Posted January 8, 2017 Posted January 8, 2017 You may get some abuse about b12 Zorst, filters, cams, bigbore, 1 Quote
bandit14 Posted January 8, 2017 Posted January 8, 2017 Get an After market end can, that'll give you a few extra noticeable pony's to start. Quote
Paulm Posted January 8, 2017 Posted January 8, 2017 Put the engine in an Aircooled frame................... 4 Quote
*cooky* Posted January 8, 2017 Author Posted January 8, 2017 ok bandit 1200 , yeah can is at top of list , collector has been welded though so limited to 3 stud options for the moment Quote
*cooky* Posted January 8, 2017 Author Posted January 8, 2017 was waiting for the turbo comments lol , wont be doing any frame swaps either , I'm happy as is for now , it is a S model so will do a naked conversion at some point Quote
*cooky* Posted January 8, 2017 Author Posted January 8, 2017 will be taking the engine crash bars off too Quote
vizman Posted January 8, 2017 Posted January 8, 2017 ey-up cooky.....i'd do something drastic to the b12...or it'll get deleted Quote
R1guy Posted January 8, 2017 Posted January 8, 2017 I'd keep the fairing- just cam/big bore/ zorst/ carbs! Quote
*cooky* Posted January 8, 2017 Author Posted January 8, 2017 88 750 cams ? , I have been looking but seems to be a rare find , rejet carbs I was thinking of put I'm not too clued up on jetting so will have to do some reading on the subject Quote
bandit14 Posted January 8, 2017 Posted January 8, 2017 If you change the cams you will lose a bit of the bandit torque and bottom end grunt, it reverts more to a GSX-R 1100 with more top end power. depends what you like. Quote
bluedog59 Posted January 8, 2017 Posted January 8, 2017 If you want speed A to B. I. Suspension. 2. End can. 3. Downpipes/collector. 4. Jetting with filters/modded airbox. 5. Head work/cams or DOT head and cams. If you want straight line speed ignore number 1. 2 Quote
gsx Posted January 8, 2017 Posted January 8, 2017 Got gsxr shock in mine, factory pro 11 jet kit and dual pods plus 11 full remus 4 2 1 system . How's 60 to a tank full riding like a complete twat sound ! Honestly mate pipe and carbs first port of call , the gsxr 11 shock made a massive difference over stock and probably best mod. Now it's sorted the front end feels lacking. Your money your choice Quote
vizman Posted January 8, 2017 Posted January 8, 2017 sell it, by something ol'skool....i always have to be the 'bad cop'. 1 RTFR 2 welcome back Quote
*cooky* Posted January 8, 2017 Author Posted January 8, 2017 all good info cheers guys , will be deffinetly be doing some those Quote
*cooky* Posted January 8, 2017 Author Posted January 8, 2017 vizman ill be looking out for a oldskool project later this year , bit hard at moment as got divorced and lost house garage and all tools ( the bitch ) so I'm on basic tools and garden at the moment Quote
bandit14 Posted January 8, 2017 Posted January 8, 2017 Totally agree with gsx, rear shock makes a massive difference, its no good having extra performance without handling. Quote
