ive got a stock 98 bandit12 which I'm wanting to change few things on , what would the 1st basic mods/upgrades that should be done ?

You may get some abuse about b12  

Zorst, filters, cams, bigbore,

 Get an After market end can, that'll  give you a few extra noticeable pony's to start.

88 750 cams ? , I have been looking but seems to be a rare find , rejet carbs I was thinking of put I'm not too clued up on jetting so will have to do some reading on the subject

If you change the cams you will lose a bit of the bandit torque and bottom end grunt, it reverts more to a GSX-R 1100 with more top end power. depends what you like.

If you want speed A to B.

I. Suspension.

2. End can.

3. Downpipes/collector.

4. Jetting with filters/modded airbox.

5. Head work/cams or DOT head and cams.

If you want straight line speed ignore number 1.

Got gsxr shock in mine, factory pro 11 jet kit and dual pods plus 11 full remus 4 2 1 system . How's 60 to a tank full riding like a complete twat sound !

Honestly mate pipe and carbs first port of call , the gsxr 11 shock made a massive difference over stock and probably best mod.

Now it's sorted the front end feels lacking.

vizman ill be looking out for a oldskool project later this year , bit hard at moment as got divorced and lost house garage and all tools ( the bitch ) so I'm on basic tools and garden at the moment

Totally agree with gsx, rear shock makes a massive difference, its no good having extra performance without handling.
