Sheep Posted May 9, 2016 Posted May 9, 2016 I wasn't sure about the swingarm at first thinking the Ducati S4R tubular arm may suit better but once the seat unit was on it seemed to click.....The choice of motor is a winner too..oh and Absolute 80's on the tv is a nice touch too 1 Quote

busa ash Posted May 10, 2016 Author Posted May 10, 2016 (edited) yaaaay my calipers turned up from america £78 delivered took few weeks but i am over the moon and a brand new rear axle from an mv agusta £120 Edited June 21, 2016 by busa ash pictures fixed, photobucket issue, remove the ~original behind the url 1 Quote
Sheep Posted May 10, 2016 Posted May 10, 2016 (edited) To be honest,i think you are going the right way....that Harris frame,to the untrained eye could be a frame designed and built this year just like others nowadays using trellis or tube style frames so that swingarm will be just fine... I know what you mean about the price though,..just look at the price of conventional Ducati 999 'arms compared to single sided...night and day. Sorry Busa,i have just read your heading stating the word modern....please excuse my ignorance lol Edited May 10, 2016 by Sheep Addition 1 Quote
busa ash Posted May 10, 2016 Author Posted May 10, 2016 sheep i am just a fred in a shed trying parts if they fit great , if not re sell , its more time searching . its difficult for breakers to answer messages , and if you ask it could be 48hrs before a response if you ask if they can measure a part thats a whole diffrent story , when it works its A1 but we keep going and keep moving forward 1 Quote
Jelly Posted May 11, 2016 Posted May 11, 2016 Fixed the pictures Ash, it's Photobucket, when you copy the URL it somehow puts ~original behind the .jpg extension which causes the images not to display. Corrected it for you. 1 Quote

SiBag Posted May 13, 2016 Posted May 13, 2016 I do like that fairing ash. If was me Id try and pull it as far back towards the headstock as I could. There is not a huge amount of lock to lock on the mag II so I don't think bar clearance would be an issue. Just a thought. 1 Quote
