Budget engine build

Planning to build myself a 7/11 again. Because stock stuff sucks I want to get some extra grunt from the engine. So I want some advise from you guys.

Budget in mind, don't want to spend all my money this time So do I go with good old 1127 and just ignition, exhaust and mikuni rs's? Or bandit with similar mods? Maybe 1127 with 750 head?

What would be best bang for the buck and I don't want to hear anything about hayahayayahabusa pistons please

Or take the EFE for a spin

Those are quite soft, like trying to ride pudding with a handlebar. This thread is going to wrong direction at the moment

Cheapest thing to do would be daile the cams in skim the head then get it flowed with good exhaust and carbs setup well.

Best option as far as budget goes is don't narrow your direction too much. Just go with whatever pops up at the right price and make the most of it. 1127's or 1157's are to be found for decent money if you find yourself in the right place at the right time. Patience is key.

My own toughts were similar. Skimmed head, adjustable cam gear, rs38, exhaust, ignitech and naturally engine service
