homer Posted March 12, 2016 Posted March 12, 2016 (edited) Planning to build myself a 7/11 again. Because stock stuff sucks I want to get some extra grunt from the engine. So I want some advise from you guys. Budget in mind, don't want to spend all my money this time So do I go with good old 1127 and just ignition, exhaust and mikuni rs's? Or bandit with similar mods? Maybe 1127 with 750 head? What would be best bang for the buck and I don't want to hear anything about hayahayayahabusa pistons please Edited March 12, 2016 by homer Quote

homer Posted March 12, 2016 Author Posted March 12, 2016 (edited) Those are quite soft, like trying to ride pudding with a handlebar. This thread is going to wrong direction at the moment Edited March 12, 2016 by homer Quote
clivegto Posted March 13, 2016 Posted March 13, 2016 Cheapest thing to do would be daile the cams in skim the head then get it flowed with good exhaust and carbs setup well. Quote
Rene EFE Posted March 13, 2016 Posted March 13, 2016 Best option as far as budget goes is don't narrow your direction too much. Just go with whatever pops up at the right price and make the most of it. 1127's or 1157's are to be found for decent money if you find yourself in the right place at the right time. Patience is key. homer Posted March 14, 2016 Author Posted March 14, 2016 My own toughts were similar. Skimmed head, adjustable cam gear, rs38, exhaust, ignitech and naturally engine service Quote
