clivegto Posted August 8 Posted August 8 Gear box ratios which out of all the oil boilers has the highest. My question is if you run 15/45/530 which gear box is higher gearing. Quote
Upshotknothole Posted August 9 Posted August 9 (edited) Is this the info you're looking for? I googled final drive ratio for a power screen and that thread was the first hit. I'd guess either power screen or GSXR1100, can't imagine a blandit needing to go over 160. Checked my factory manual and 1100L/M/N are all 0.913 final drive ratio. Last of the Mk2 blandits were 0.833. Don't know if they ever changed them at all, it's Suzuki, so probably not. Edited August 9 by Upshotknothole more info 1 Quote
Oilyspanner Posted August 10 Posted August 10 Hi Clive - pretty sure 1127 Slingshot, gsx1100f and B1200 all have the same secondary ratios. The 1157 and R1127 are the same, I've got a new 4th driven gear for a B1200 in my 1100N. Webike have the 2006 B1200 having slightly different 3rd, 4th and 5th secondary ratios, like USK said, but the cogs have the same number of teeth...so it's just bad maths. 2 Quote
Dezza Posted August 11 Posted August 11 if you have pdfs of the genuine Suzuki manuals for powerscreen, b12 and 1100 slingshots, all the data are in there . Quote
dupersunc Posted August 11 Posted August 11 (edited) The only difference is the primary drive ratio. Power screen is longest by a sniff, Bandit and 1127 are basically the same, 1052 is slightly shorter. Works out about 6mph longer between power screen and gsxr 1127 on stock sprockets, a 180/60 tyre, at 10,000rpm Edited August 11 by dupersunc 1 Quote
