Scotty750 Posted January 17, 2016 Share Posted January 17, 2016 Anyone had any issues with making the GSXR750 engines fit? Seen loads around the internet. I seem to be having issues with mine. Tank won't clear the carbs. By about 2.5" I used the stock rear bottom tabs on the frame, as seems to be the common swap. Cant really lower the engine much more than it is. Chain run on the angles is pretty much perfect. Just not sure the best way to go about this really. Wondered if anyone else had any issues? I'm thinking the easiest option is to raise the rear of the tank, and modify the side panel to suit and line up a bit better. Thoughts? 1 Quote Link to comment

So I'll be on the lookout for some smaller carbs then. Mine are decent condition, so should be able to sell them to fund another set. Cheers. I've got a 1992 oil cooled GSXF engine which I believe has the 36mm, I haven't looked at the carbs yet. Tail looks great, wish I had done that with mine originally! Quote Link to comment
