Joseph
Provenance must be wrong then because there only seems to be one part number ? Maybe i'm not looking at the right thing ? Quote Link to comment

fatblokeonbandit
bandit ones 600 and 1200 have big holes in as well???? Fek know what that one is ???? Quote Link to comment
colinworth79
Mk1 and mk2 bandit are basically the same . Inlet rubbers , alternator , exhaust cam and sprocket cover only variations I can see between the 2 motors I have stripped down here. Oil pump gear looks like it's off a wp . Quote Link to comment
fatblokeonbandit
Mk2 has PAIRS, 3 wire neutral switch and different pick up plug as well as the alternator, everything is interchangeable, just connecting plugs , except the neutral switch.. Quote Link to comment
clivegto
Right story is I bought a mk1 engine from a local lad who said he had removed the clutch to fit to a mk2 but gave me what he said was a mk2 clutch Quote Link to comment
colinworth79
Clutch basket should have 72 teeth Quote Link to comment

clivegto
Curiosity got the better of me so went for a look see. Seems like some one has tried to run the wrong gear in this motor there is a tooth missing of the oil pump gear and the one on the clutch is a bit mangeld on closer investigation. Good job it was cheap. Quote Link to comment
