Tell me your builds 1216 or 1276

Hi all. As of this morning I think I’ve done the bottom end on my b12 mk1. Don’t know what damage has been done assuming a full rebuild. So while I’m at it what’s best 1216 or 1276? If you could tell me your builds ie power/ reliability/ pros/ cons

your help will be much appreciated

B12 Blandit Block is good for 1216......1276 would need new liners

And the cases bored out also

I recently built a 1277 only because I found a super cheap 83mm piston kit but if it wasn't for that I probably wouldn't have gone there as it ends up being quite expensive once the cost of the liners and the machining of the block and cases to fit the liners is taken into account

There is a 1246cc piston kit for the B12 that does not need the cases boring.

Yes only leaves 1mm of the sleeves left.

I have one in my EFE build

Did you use the B12 liners in that fancy block Steve.

yes mate, WSR swapped them from my B12 block
