That might be different, depending on which GS1000 you have. Other than that, nothing. I've built quite a few GS1000 motors using 1000G top ends. My current bike has a chain drive bottom end, with shafty top end, including CV carbs and airbox. 1 Quote Link to comment

wraith Posted November 4, 2021 Share Posted November 4, 2021 (edited) The only other wheel I know will fit in a gs850/1000g swingarm and hub, is a XV800. You do need to remove the hub each time you want to remove the wheel, as the wheel rim is wider than the space between the hub and Rh side swingarm.
