Azov Posted March 24, 2021 Posted March 24, 2021 (edited) Hi, just building on a budget, a Wes Cooley race replica. I want to keep the stock forks and swinging arm, and wondered if there are any three spoke wheel options that are not too wide I can use, 18 inch preferably but open to anything suggested thankds Edited March 24, 2021 by Azov Update Quote
wraith Posted March 24, 2021 Posted March 24, 2021 Welcome to OSS 18" 3 spoke gsxr1100j but if you can find some not cheep at all. Other options front b6 MK1 front, you can get bearing for the smaller spindle size I think, you will need to make plates for mounting the calipers. Rear bandit 400 has a 160 rear tyre on a 4.5" rim gsxr400 don't know size of tyre bandit 600 4" rim I think, gsx750f. All these are 17" wheels use a gsx750 teapot rear caliper so you can keep the caliper on top of the disc instead of it going under, saves massing relocating the torque arm. Quote
Swiss Toni Posted March 24, 2021 Posted March 24, 2021 You may well run out of money before options! Welcome to the OSS! 1 Quote

I think some pics of progress so far would help inspire wheel suggestions Also- All of @wraithsuggestions are going to be best for budget. B6/teapot stuff doesn’t cost huge amounts.
