Finn Posted June 23, 2020 Posted June 23, 2020 Hello. Acquired this EFE during the weekend. I'm going through basic things and would like to ask what are the stock factory suspension settings front and rear? Not yet owner's manual to check for this info, I'm afraid. Quote
Askamaskinservice Posted June 23, 2020 Posted June 23, 2020 I found it on here as a PDF and downloaded it, but i can't find where now? Quote
Dezza Posted June 24, 2020 Posted June 24, 2020 And then change the front and rear ends, brakes and wheels, and lose as much weight as you can afford to reduce the likelihood of ending up in a ditch 2 Quote
Captain Chaos Posted June 24, 2020 Posted June 24, 2020 And then after that add some weight again in the shape of a turbo. 2 Quote
Finn Posted October 24, 2020 Author Posted October 24, 2020 NOS. Sat in dealer's warehouse for the past 35 or so years. And now it is mine. Quote

That's the exact year and colour as mine, well it was until I got bored and changed it up. As mine is a Canadian sale it's an 1150efe Quote

Finn Posted October 25, 2020 Author Posted October 25, 2020 No plans. Probably just keep it in the living room corner to make the missus mad. 1 Quote

Dezza Posted October 25, 2020 Posted October 25, 2020 Does it have any numbers stamped on it? My guess is no, or it just has some model/year prefix numbers. Quote

No stampings but there is a faded factory decal on it. In dealer's system it had warehouse code 41100-00A01-13L. Quote

Finn Posted October 26, 2020 Author Posted October 26, 2020 Sweden and Finland had the same frame I was told. Quote
Swiss Toni Posted October 27, 2020 Posted October 27, 2020 As to the frame no’s. If you totalled your bike here, in the UK, if it went to an official dealer needing a new frame, it would be ordered by said dealer, and would arrive un-stamped. Dealer would then stamp new frame with original number, and scrap old frame. Quote
Finn Posted October 31, 2020 Author Posted October 31, 2020 This too just followed me home today. 1 Quote
