kiwisuzuki1100nz Posted February 10, 2020 Posted February 10, 2020 (edited) Hi, My right indicator works fine but my left doesnt and when I turn left on I can hear the turn signal relay chattering / buzzing like the relay isnt switching properly. So is this: Buggered turn signal relay - replace Loose wiring? Bad wiring? Anyone else had this happen before? NOTE: New wiring loom, left turn signal was working when I tested electrics during rebuild. Edited February 10, 2020 by kiwisuzuki1100nz Quote
Captain Chaos Posted February 10, 2020 Posted February 10, 2020 One left light bulb may be the wrong wattage. left and right turn signals use the same relay by the way. Quote

Blubber Posted February 12, 2020 Posted February 12, 2020 Or an iffy ground connection, could even be corrosion between the bulb and the holder. Quote

bluedog59 Posted February 12, 2020 Posted February 12, 2020 I'm +1 on checking you've got good earth's and clean bulb holders/contacts. Could you try swapping wires between sides and see if it follows the wiring or stays with that side. 2 Quote

kiwisuzuki1100nz Posted February 15, 2020 Author Posted February 15, 2020 Ok Fixed. Culprit in photo. Rear left indicator corroded and some numpty wired the indicator incorrectly and it was shorting out. 1 Quote
