took a bit of chopping, but its hung, 

 

 

once its locked in i can look at arm pivot point / sprocket relationship

a little fettling has the risers seated in the yoke, although they need to go on a major diet

engine mounts trial fitted and looking the business , I,ll weld them in once the new swingarm pivot bosses are fixed 

 

 

Aprilia arm purely for set up porpoises

the notched cross tube is plated up and the ends welded on 

 

then it was welded into the frame, along with the first tubes to the swingarm pivot

still some work to do, but this should hold the swingarm a little better than if i,d left it as Ducati did ( the TL not having the spindle going through the cases)

Nice work yantosh, something a bit different and original, love seeing your frame work especially that one you built a while ago, was it tricky building your frame jig? What sort of tolerances did you give yourself making it or did it all have to be bang on?

as long as it was within a couple of thou i was happy when machining the parts for it , then double check everything with digital angle finder when setting up

no, its a big moulded plastic tank

left hand side of the frame mods done, but shed too small to get to both sides

so a quick 180 and onto the right

front tank mount, mid tank support, front engine mount, lower subframe mount...... then off for a beer
