whats the plan for an airbox? air intakes?

out of interest..

no airbox, some people say it won't work, but I know someone on here  for whom it just worked fine , and I have a power commander V and friends with a dyno, time will tell

too many people who actually know a thing or two advising against my headlight idea,  figured I should at least entertain the idea, popped the light off my GSX-R for a mock up , those who's opinion I value enough to ask for it say it looks much better ,  it doesn't match my original plan, but it is £300 cheaper . I'll fab up some "temporary " mounts and try for a ten foot look

meh... everyone and their dog puts MT-02 headlights on their specials

guess you can'nae please all of the people , yeah the MT03 is becoming the clitoris of headlights, but for the money I have available its the best fitting option, for a reasonable working headlight ....... unless of course you can recommend an alternative?

ah yes MT03 and not 02. You're right, good headlight for not much money. But this build is something special and it deserves a special headlight.

How about some Dominator twin spots? :D

an inspired choice  Captain,  but too good for the likes of me, nothing special here, just a cheap budget bike built from freebies, second hand  parts and what ever I could cobble up myself

always open to the advice of our more senior members tho :)

hoping my perseverance has paid off,  constant internet searching found this for not much more than an MT03, hopefully its a standard electrical plug , now we wait . I'll go put the blue light back on my GSX-R

had to swap to one of the non led speedo pods,  they'll be relocated

got the headlight mounted, single bolt in top yoke and a pair of pegs into bottom one, it won't work with the high muddie anymore, not to worry

time to get my arse in gear and finish this off

need a low muddie  to go with the new light,  I gathered up a few bits n bobs from the shed and introduced them to mr angle grinder , then offered them to the bike

lets see if I can turn it into something worth keeping

muddie is starting to look like I want , thinking I'll give it a coat of resin and use it as a plug for a mould , it'll be stronger, lighter and a lot less of a bodge

got the kevlar, peel ply and breather layer all cut out on Saturday ready for today. Up Sunday and off to the shed, mix up the resin and get it all loaded into a vacuum bag, never tried this before ... turned out ok, the mock up I cobbled together was the better part of 600g , vacuum moulded part about 150g. It did need a final cosmetic layer of resin brushed on, that'll need to wait until tomorrow to be rubbed down
