Hardassfunk
Picked this little beauty up today 1987 GSX750EF import with 34k Kilometres. Rode back 80 miles surprised how nippy it is for a 750.Plans are to give it a good service and use it.long term i will be upgrading the running gear using Bandit or possibly Slingshot USD front end and B6 rear wheel as from what I've read it's a pain to change the swinger? 2 Quote Link to comment
eddiegsx
Looks like a nice clean bike, enjoy it. Quote Link to comment
ibrakeformoose
I have four of these puppies and they're a super little thing.. much overlooked. Easy to upgrade front and rear, and I do have a complete (and cheap) running gear transplant if you want three spokes and modern forks/brakes, thanks to a thieving toe rag that denied me from my next project.. pm me if you fancy anything or want a pointer. kingofvenus
Had a teapot one on mine for a while, matching rear wheel fits in the stock swinger too. Quote Link to comment
ibrakeformoose
As kingofvenus says, teapot all goes straight in.. and that's what I have. I've sent you a pm regarding the parts.. I believe oil cooled ones fit (I know the header spacing is the same), but not sure about where the collector comes out.. maybe someone else can help on this? ES sumps are flat, so there's none of the usual shenanigans about worrying whether the collector hits the sump! Quote Link to comment
