Thanks to the help of may here and my lucky fumblings I have been able to get my 1981 GS550L running. While working on solving an electrical issue I notice some liquid dripping from the left muffler (White Circle). This liquid seems to be dripping from a bolt/insert/,,,,something (Red Arrow). Sitting still the liquid looks to be building up on this item (Green Arrow) before falling to the floor. Thinking this could be oil coming from the engine somewhere, I climbed under while running I can see the liquid sometime spraying directly from the exhaust out of the bolt thing (Red Arrow). This liquid seems to only be coming mainly from the left side. I think I have seen a few drops on the right side, but it is like a 99/1 ratio. I gave the liquid the finger rub test and maybe kind of oily but I would call is more water like. Also it doesn't smell like gas or burn oil. Also not getting a thick black exhaust that would make ma think super rich mixture or burning out. So I am a bit lost. Could it be water? If so where could it be coming from? If oil is there a way to enter the exhaust without burning?

Looking for a slip on muffler for a 91 750 at a reasonable price. Looming for sound more than power gain as I'm running a 907cc kit on her. But I'm not digging the stock muffler sound.

Hi, Just hoping to get some thoughts, I’ve got a gsxr 750l engine I need headers for and can’t decide wether to go stainless or titanium!? I’ve got no experience cleaning up or working with titanium but the weight saving - while minor - will definitely keep with the weight reduction theme. so question is: gsxr 1000 k1-k4 titanium headers Blandit 1200-600 stainless headers Or fairly mad looking 4into 2 Stainless set for slab side on eblag? any thought or opinions would be very much appreciated!

Hello to you all oss members! In a nutshell: Salvaged this ugly, left to die bastard from a Finnish barn last summer and been customising it since then Idea is to customise a sporty daily ride which I can ride also in motorways (will keep the Police academy front fairing). I have upgraded Hayabusa Gen1 rear and front end to the bike. Everything has now been stripped and sent to powder. Next thing in the list is the engine check. Question to you gentlemen is what kind of decent priced bolt on sport exhaust systems there is available? What kind of solutions do you all have? I know tha Marving does 2 kind of systems and Vance&Hines sidewinder is not for me Thanks for advance! -Mikko from Finland

Anybody know where I can find split header flanges to suit Bandit exhaust? I had to chop mine off, so bad was the steel-ally interaction Don’t want to mess about chopping the pipes about, but don’t want to waste an otherwise fine set of headers either... Have looked on the webz, but can only find stuff for German luxo-barges. Oops, posted this twice cos on first attempt it refused to upload. Sorry, pls delete one of them!

Hi again everyone, would anyone know by any chance if a full exhaust system from a 89 1100 fit on a 91 1100? The numbers on the silencers are one digit different mine are 41c0 and the 89 are 40c0, also are the headers the same? Thanks in advance much appreciated as always

I have recently bought a 1200 bandit that is totally standard, it feels a bit restricted compared to my old 1100 gsxr. I am not going to mod it in a big way (I am too old now), but I have read the standard end can is pretty restrictive (and it sounds like a wet fart). Any advice on a preferably european road legal replacement would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Last year purchased a 97 gsx600f completely standard and was running fine, the winter however has been a cruel beast. The standard exhaust met its match with all the grit laid down it has rotted faster and blown through. Problem I am faced with is it has the 4 into 2 system as standard. However I have been trying find a new system but I can only find 4 into 1, I was told I would have to change the sump in order for it to fit. I cannt find the standard 4 into 2, nor do I like it anyway. Does anyone know what exhaust will fit on and whether I will need to change the sump around to do. My final option is the full delkavic system just under 400 quid, but that might mean the sump swap. I don't want to pay or do that Haha. So any and all advice is appreciated

Hello Guys. I'm back with some more questions about my GS. So I currently want to make a custom exhaust from stainless steel myself.. obviously a pipe that's already ready to be cut sort of thing. Yes, I understand that basically straight piping the bike is bad and will create a vaccum to suck cold air in, yes I know. I understand all of the risks. What I do not understand is what to use and where to even start? It's a 1990 GS500E. I want to cut down past the can about maybe 6-8 inches and create an outer facing hole so instead of the exhaust end-hole facing behind me, it faces directly to my left or at an angle towards the back. Someone please fill me in on how and what I can do to get this started.

Hi all, Does anybody know if, and if so which years, of GSX-R 1100 stock 4-2 exhausts would fit my 1200 Inazuma? I currently have a 4-1 Laser system with a carbon can fitted, which sounds fantastic, but I really like the idea of twin pipes on a retro bike like the Inazuma. I'm thinking the oil cooled 1100's would be best? Then, the next question; anybody have a system they'd be willing to sell or swap for the 4-1 I have? see picture attached. I do think I'd probably have to lose my centre stand if I fit the twin pipes, which is a bit of a shame...

Hi all, just wondering if anyone has any idea if a bandit exhaust will fit on a 1995 gsx600f? It currently has a Motad Nexxus 4-1 with a completely shot collector box. Will a bandit collector box fit? Or any other system? Seems daft to pay over £300 for a new system on an old nail...
