Thanks , Just had a quick look at the wiring diagram and it says that it’s feed is from the igniter unit, where does that get its signal from for the revs

Thank you so much for the info, very informative, I have the chance to buy a really good original full system from an 89 as I am putting mine back to original, I still have my original silencers so maybe i can just use the headers as the ones that are on are horrible. Thanks again

Hi again everyone, would anyone know by any chance if a full exhaust system from a 89 1100 fit on a 91 1100? The numbers on the silencers are one digit different mine are 41c0 and the 89 are 40c0, also are the headers the same? Thanks in advance much appreciated as always

Evoluzione they look like the kiddies it's 2 and 3 that have come adrift, just got a full overhaul kit of santy so got all new gubbins to go in them

Yeh they are 40s, do you know what that pipe on the side that goes from the bottom of the carb body to the choke slide actually does?

Hello all, I'm looking for some advice on my 1100 gsxr I recently bought back from the guy I sold it to 11 years ago, it's running on three pots, no2 is off, took the carbs off and found the little pipe on the side that goes to the choke housing is broken off. My question is what the hell does that pipe do and would it stop the carb working? Also can you fit early 1200 bandit carbs to replace the originals? Any help would be much appreciated as I'm demented with it hahahaha cheers

Hahaha yup, they were holding all the panels on, little ones at the front, side and most of the seat unit, it's got a gsxr srad seat unit on it, apart from the Finnish the actual mod is pretty well done lol
