Convenience has a price. Do you know what your paying for that convenience? I bet you would quit fb if you did. Unless your addicted to it. Let me know what gear sets you have that would work on my 86 750 and what you want for them.

2nd gen has that wire for whatever they were measuring, and is a bit longer center to center than a gen1 i believe. I use a gen1 on my main ride and its very nice. Im a huge fan of using newer stock shocks on older bikes, it just comes down to center to center dimensions and making spacers. The res always seems to complicate things though.

I was interested in your 6 speed trans stuff as i'll likely need something for my 750, but its been put on the back back burner for a few more months. I do need a front 86 1100 wheel (smaller axle) if you have one, mine has a flat spot.

One thing to realize about fedex is they are all subcontractors, and dont always talk to each other. They also wont move product until a truck is full, thats most likely whats happening.

I took my ign cylinder in to have a key reverse cut to it. It works on the gas cap and steering lock. They dont make keys like they used to.

Then something else is wrong. My 15k mile 86 1100 engine was spot on after i installed the guide i forgot. Like exactly mint perfect. Edit: I did find TDC using a indicator while the head was off.

At that point i would look at the notches in the end of the cams. Im no pro, only done the job once. Well twice actually cause i forgot to put a chain guide in, the guide made a huge difference in everything being spot on.

Late to the party but i finally measured one of my 90 1k tanks, it would fall through the frame spars.
